Sweet. Though, we can use MP3s, so the music quality doesn't have to be bit-level, just as long as it's game-style.
Good idea, because the musician has decided to move out to another city (so i've lost contact with him). But, there's plenty of artists i could get. I'll be asking around tomorrow; i'm having a day off. Plenty of time to get some business and drawings done.
I gotta tell ya'll, I had a weird dream last night; where all of the "monster" graphics ended up being ponies dressed as monsters. Weird... anyway, I'm not sure what we could use for the MLP-verse that would be equivalent to goblins.
Rover, Fido, and Spot? It'd be interesting. Of course, the world this takes place in is more feudal than the show, so they may end up a bit more menacing. Give Rover a sword and shield, Fido a big axe, and Spot can be a caster.
So, proof that Giant Spiders are canon in MLP exists! http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Giant_Spiders_(My_Little_Pony_Friendship_Is_Magic)
When you do, I noticed that you have white edges around the last bit of your lines, (possibly antialias?) What art program do you use?
Hell guys. Maybe we should make some plan of research, and make some ''schedule'', list of priorities and all, about what we're working on, who's on what, and how much time we plan to work on everything. We should as well list out the contents of the game we'll need; the types of music, the list of enemies, the list of backgrounds, etc., and point out their order of apparition in the game, so we'll focus on them first. And... We'll need to plan out where we'll release it, how to get the most visibility, and most of all, when. When will we reunite somewhere to talk about it, together? I'd prefer to have a meeting on skype or someting, than having to find the infos we need in the posts. Cause, you know, we're already at page 16. And it won't stop anytime soon. (Maybe making a group could be a good idea? Sorting out and getting organized will keep us guys motivated and working efficiently.) - - Auto Merge - - Trying to get in contact with the guy behind Super Lesbian Horse RPG. He could give us some contacts, or simply help us with spriting/art. No no, don't thank me, y'all quite welcome. (Getting in-character)
I uh... I got sidetracked. Saul, maybe a Skype Group for talking about development would be a good idea.
I still need a list of enemies. I have about fifty rough sketches done, but I'm kind of stumbling in the dark until I know which ones to finish.
Right, sorry about that. I was working on it Wednesday when I started getting sick. 24 hour bug later and I forgot about it. My bad, Ridley. About to go to bed, but I'mma set it in an Outlook reminder to finish that.
I don't have a response from the dude (with SLHRPG), but i've found 9 potential artists, 3 potential musicians (but we should definitively ask Esy first), and i know how to find some spriters. Now, what do we need? List of things i can do/should be necessary: - Skype group - Forum Group - a big list of everything we'll have to do, in order of importance. - Artists - Spriters - Musicians - Publicity. (EQDaily and EQGaming will probably feature us) - Stuff to eat. - Eyes - Brains (not edible) - Lots of time Do we need something else? Do you guys have ideas to organize it all/something you can provide that could help? But i still have some questions. How long do you guys plan to work on this? Are you motivated enough to do it UNTIL THE END? Do you like tacos?
Another question... Will the game include elemental and status effects? (ex. Fire/Ice/Shock/Paralyze/Poison)
M'kay, those of you who want to be in a production group for the game on Skype, gimmie a message in PM, or on Skype!
