(I'm going with Silver's back in time thing, could be fun) The dangerous storm swirled around Silver and Tricorna. "I have been told by the gods that my fate can't be changed... I highly doubt you can change my destiny..."
Silver laughed. "The gods? The gods are fools! I will not trust my fate to them, and neither should you! Destiny is what you make of it, not what some absentee deity decides that it should be!" Silver's eyes glowed, and he placed his hoof on Tricorna's shoulder. "The destructive energy within you is strong, but your spirit is stronger. No ordinary warrior could have survived it's effects for this long. Now, I need you to stop resisting it. Let the destruction loose, so that I may channel it away from you. Trust me, and you will survive."
"Who am I to doubt you..." She sighed and nodded. A massive bolt of lightning shot down through the center of the cloud, hitting Tricorna, and in turn Silver as well. A voice echoed in both of their heads. "You have beaten two of my corrupted minions... I wish you would STOP INTERFERING IN MY PLANS!"
Silver grinned. "Oh... now this IS interesting." He shouted at the voice. "I've taken worse from better! If that's all you got, you may as well come out now, so I can put you out your misery quickly!"
A humanoid figure appeared out of the clouds, shadowed. "Silver... A champion of you little mortals. I'd hardly call my position misery. My third minion is already starting his interference... and I don't think this one will be within your ability to stop... I am the corrupter. I twist the normally good figures of your world... and they just think it's their own choices... Godkiller Jack, Pheonix queen Celestia, and... well, I don't want to spoil the surprise for you. It's only a day till midnight comes." With that, the figure faded back into the clouds, while Tricorna stood, stunned by the bolt from earlier.
Silver sighed heavily, and used a healing spell on Tricorna. "Great. There's some kind of ape screwing around with our world. Kind of reminds me of the Roleplayers." He looked to the cloud that the figure had vanished into, and then back to the young doe. "We can try to pursue him, but he's probably long gone by now. It might be best to just get you back to Canterlot."
-Meanwhile, in Canterlot. Midnight had sat downstairs in his lonesome trying to hold Plague's control. He did not understand Plague's motives, other then the fact he wants to obliterate all the worlds nations, unite them under one, and attack the Elder Kingdom and the Shadowlands of Tartarus to assume all power from the Gods, therefore starting Armageddon and emerging as supreme god . Plague occasionally broke free of Midnight's control, but never assumed total control over the Alicorn. Just as he was about to stand up, Plague took control again as the color of his eyes changed. Just as he was about to flip a nearby table, Midnight took control once more. Plague was getting worse, he knew that he would surface during the battle against his mother regardless of his actions. Midnight stood up, distressed about this change, and left the room without saying a word before closing the door behind him. Midnight is unlikely to be corrupted anytime soon. But seeing how easily Jack became corrupted, then his own mother, words could not describe what would happen if Plague were to be corrupted. Midnight's main goal in life, was to kill the demon living inside of him. Even if it meant sacrificing his life. He equipped his armor and headed upstairs until he was ready to kill his mother.
After placing several explosive charges to simulate the effect of Tricorna's original death, Silver grabbed the young doe and concentrated on a time and place. He had succeeded in stealing the power of a god, but he was finding it difficult to control without a horn. So far, he had only pulled off the time spell three times. "I hope this works... I almost lost control when I went back for Nightshade." The pair disappeared just as charges went off. To Venquis, it would appear that Tricorna had died as expected, thus preventing an unpleasant paradox.
The Eriborian turned around to hear an explosion being visible across the ocean, knowing that it could be only but one thing. He watched as a mushroom cloud began to form afterwards, knowing that Tricorna had died. Saddened by this news, he turned around and flew back to Canterlot to catch up with his friends to kill the tyrant that committed genocide against his race.
The spell had gone perfectly. When Tricorna woke up, she saw Silver Crescent standing in front of dusty sarcophagus, in a very old tomb. Silver ignored Tricorna, and spoke instead to the Pegasus skeleton that lay before him. "My beloved Winter Night. How it pains me to see you like this. It has taken me centuries, but I finally have the power to save you." Placing his hoof gently on the skull of his long-dead wife, he spoke softly. "Come back to me, my love." A blinding white light filled the tomb, and the crackling sound of powerful magic nearly shook the walls. When it was over, a beautiful grey mare with a snow white mane stood in the coffin, looking very confused. "Silver? What has happened? Where are we? Where is Nightshade?!" Silver, looking quite exhausted, smiled. "Our daughter is safe, but she is no longer the foal that you remember. You have been away for a very long time, my love."
As Tricorna slowly stood, examining her surroundings, she realized she felt very weak. Empty of the dangerous power fr before. "Silver... What did you do? What's going on?" Jack slowly walked through a wall and stood next to the doe. "I can explain that... He is Silver from approximately... Oh I lost track of the time, but after you "died." And after Celestia has been killed. He took her power so he could go back and fix some things, which are surprisingly not upsetting the balance... Lucky for him."
(I have literally no idea how to continue. Venquis is heading to Equestria and the others are at the palace. And since where technically in the past, I cannot continue with Plague.)
(I just needed to tie up some loose ends with Silver's plan. Namely, the reasons why Silver was so willing to betray his allies by stealing Celestia's power. We're back in the present.) Silver heard a familiar voice behind him, a voice he had hoped to never hear again. Snarling, he drew his swords and whirled to face Jack. "What in Tartarus are you doing here?! I will not allow you to interfere! I will not lose them again!" Winter, who still looked quite bewildered by her husband's statement about Nightshade, reacted instantly when she saw him reach for his weapons. Grabbing a torch from the wall, she brandished it at the mysterious stallion and the doe beside him.
"Calm down. I thought Obsidian told you I was cured. I'm just here to tell you that THEY have an eye on you." He pointed up. "Now I'll be on my way." Jack smiled and phased through the ground. "Who the hell was that?" Tricorna looked to Silver.
"An old foe... or perhaps a simple observer. I doubt that I will ever understand that one's motives." Silver smiled. "Tricorna, meet my wife, Winter Night. Winter, this is Tricorna. I'm sorry to rush the introductions, but I imagine the others are back in the city by now. Celestia is defeated, and I would like very much to join the celebration."
In Canterlot, the festivities had already begun. With the official end of the war being over a weak ago with the collapse and now dissolved Equestrian Empire, the news of the death of the tyrannic Phoenix Queen Celestia sent shock-waves seemingly across the entire planet. Festivals and Parties were being held seemingly everywhere from Equestria and it's small colony of Ellion, Ardelan, Zebrica, Grifonia, the Changeling hives. Everywhere anyone went, parties were being held. However, none of them even came close to the sheer size of the festivals that took place in Canterlot. Tens of thousands were on the streets, music appeared alongside streamers, victory banners were proudly displayed everywhere. The former capital of the Empire shined like an oasis in the war-torn background of what remained of Equestria.
Silver, Tricorna, and Winter emerged from the tomb to find Nightshade and Hemlock waiting for them. Nightshade looked at her father disapprovingly. "It's been a week, Dad. You said you'd only be gone for a few hours after the fight. Do you have any idea how hard it's been to convince everypony that you didn't go insane? The princess was furious when she found out what you did! I had to talk her out of putting a price on your head!" Winter stared at her in disbelief. "Nightshade! It really is you! You have grown so much!" She ran forward and embraced her daughter, who looked extremely confused. Silver smiled. "Allow me to introduce you to Winter Night. She's your mother."
"As interesting as this all is... I've been dead a week, and theres a pony who I'd really like to talk to. Can we get a move on..." Tricorna sighed and looked around, before an invisible hoof smacked her head, and Jack whispered for her to be quiet. He watched from the shadows, just thinking about the circumstances of life. Obsidian watched the festivities from inside a suprisingly undercrowded bar. "The queen is dead, and the prince rises from her ashes... I can't WAIT till I can come back... but before I leave, I should at least try to enjoy myself!" He quickly downed his drink.
