I just picked up a used copy of Mass Effect from the local closing Blockbuster shop. Is it always extremely buggy or is it just my copy? My favourite thing is invisible!Shepard and breakdancing Garrus.

I can do only really abstract ones that look like a primary shool thing, I cant do scale, or people, or shapes, or even find what tool is a simple black line.
There's nothing wrong with abstract, if it's done in a way that's pleasing to the eye. You have a better understanding of color composition than many professional artists.
That's what makes it look as good as it does. It's simple, colorful, aesthetically pleasing, and it captures the mood of a dance party perfectly. I would not have been surprised to see that on the cover of a dubstep album.

Hold left click on rectangle tool (just above the hand in the tools section to the left) and choose line tool I think thats what you're asking for.
I've worked on small things, more adjustments on other work than actual projects. I've done some recoloured pony images and the like. And I made some guild siggys pretty damn close to this. That was a long time ago, so I don't have my files of my work.
