Hi All! I'm looking for a little bit of advice. I actually haven't hard the chance to watch any MLP (please don't hurt me ), but I know that my boyfriend is a pretty big brony. So, for Christmas this year, I really wanted to get him a Derpy plush, because I know he likes the character, and I know she's not really a normal character, so it's kind of hard to find one that isn't custom made. I've got to say Number two as well. But the one in the picture was a commission and is not for sale, so you'd have to commission another one. Which may cause problems. Otherwise, it'd have to be... Number 1

Definitely number 2. Also, this world needs more people like you. You went out of your way to make your boyfriend happy, and you didn't care about the price that much. Bravo!
I would also say #2. I'd definitely keep looking even still, there are lots of people who do really fine work on commision on deviantArt, and many companies that probably sell what you're looking for. I know there was a German based company that revealed it would start selling really nice looking plushes about 6 months or so ago, I'm not sure if they make Derpy at all but I'll try to find the name for you. Edit: The name of the company is NICI, not sure what they have for sale but you could look into it. Also a website called ToyWiz started selling some nice plushes for $16 awhile back, I think they only have the Mane 6 for sale but it's something to look into.
Nici is currently offering Twilight (unicorn), Pinkie and Rainbow Dash. The rest of the Mane 6 may follow if sales go well, but Derpy... eh, I guess not.
I would say the second one. I don't really like the third one, and had to think. I think the second would be a nice one for your boyfriend.
In this order ... #2, Ridley's alternative, #1, and #3. #2 has a great likeness and looks like the best one overall. Ridley's alternative follows closely to #2 in likeness and appeal. #1 shares some likeness with Derpy but the plushy itself just doesn't look all that great. #3 bares minimal likeness. The mane is more white than the yellow that it should be. The bubbles pretty much blend in with the color of the coat. It just doesn't share enough likeness to be a good Derpy plushy. If all other options were cut and this was for me, I'd at least appreciate the thought. It's the thought that counts ^^ EDIT: Your best bet is to go with Ridley Wolf's alternative here if you want to get the plush in time for Christmas. Waiting on a commission would take too long and the two from etsy are just way too overpriced for the quality of work.
