Hello! Im requesting a shoutbox for this site. Ive been on another pony forum and a shoutbox made it really addciting. I Bet people would like a ole chat box in this forum if there is one link me
if you look at the very top of the forum you will notice it says Home Forum Radio Chat Blogs just click on the chat icon and voila.
I'm not in support for a shoutbox. I see no need for one. We already have two chatrooms, and a shoutbox would just be a miniature forum general thread. Chatrooms > shoutbox. I'll throw in this quote from another shoutbox request thread...
If one wanted to they could easily make a chatango group and invite their friends to chat. It wouldn't be implemented on the site but if you're just looking for an easy way to chat/IM with other bronies it would suffice. You could also skype, facebook, twitter, myspace (if that's still alive), or just use the site's chat page. I wouldn't mind adding a few more bronies to my contact list on skype. If anyone thinks this is a good idea and wants a group just add me. SkypeID- live:nightfire171
There actually is an Everypony Skype Group. I should revive the thread sometime so that more people could join.
I'd like that very much. It's fun talking with fellow bronies on forums like this but IM's are so much faster and can lead to deeper and higher quality discussions ... or a bunch of random nonsense but I'm fine with either. Like I said, I'd just be happy to have more bronies in my contact list. I think so far I have three or four and one who isn't a brony but likes the show >.>

Also Shout boxes are awesome for guild forums but yeah don't see a point for having them here as much, though if we had one I'm sure Ridley and I would totally be going at it often hehe. my PSU is in the mail so I'll be back on my own computer sometime next week so anyone can add me to skype, I'm pretty sure I'm Kalaxus there too
I'm gonna agree with most people here and say there's not really a need for one. Especially considering there are two perfectly good chatboxes and a skype group.
But think of the CHILDREN! Except not at all. You can just open the chat in a second tab and look at it whenever.
So, the reason you agree with not having a forum chatbox is because there are already two chatboxes, which the forum doesn't have? Unless you meant chatrooms, although I hought there were more than two of those. Now I'm just really confused.
We have a chatbox on the radio, we have another chatroom with 3 channels, 2 of them for roleplaying, and we have a seperate Skype room for all members. So i don't really see the need to add another chatbox just because there isn't one on the forum page.
