I just wanted to tell everypony a quick story about how ponies have apparently entered my subconscious. I got a paper back today that I wrote in my Roman History class. I mentioned the Etruscans a lot in the paper, and when I got the paper back every time I mentioned them was crossed out with a question mark next to it. Turns out I wrote "Equestria" or "Equestrian" for all but 2 of the times. My professor asked me what Equestria was since I made the mistake so many times. I didn't know how to explain. Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? I hope I'm not the only one, hahaha.
Proff was most likely thinking something along the lines of "Can't tell if trolling or just confused". However, I sometimes say everypony instead of everybody. Because I spend enough time here. *a-ba-dum-tish*
Would have been amazing if your teacher turned out to be a brony. Last week while eating some soup with my family, I tried taking a bite only to find that it was still much too hot- I then went on to mention how it needed to be at least 20% cooler before I could eat it. I just sat there with this look on my face, happy that no one had any idea what I had just let slip out.
I was really hoping he would turn out to be a brony! He's already my favorite professor, so that would make him at least 20% cooler.
Nope. nothing like what happened to you, Dr. Whooves, has ever happened to me. I've still never said something like everypony unintentionally in public yet.
I have never said anything accidently in public, but I have on purpose, people know i'm a brony so it doesn't really phase them. I don't do it much though as I am afraid what they would think of me if the knew to what extent I'm a brony.
Only said everypony out loud once, I got away with because I'm a known brony. So my co-workers don't care.
I sometimes put "Everypony" instead of everybody, too. Never say it instead of no one of every one etc though...
Darn, there's no way I can mistakenly use everypony/somepony, due to my language be somewhat... weird.
you should have photoed that paper and put it on biggest wins ever (or maybe on win.com). but I suppose your professor knew that you know what you were talking about, and you just got confused (or just wanted to troll him). Lucky irl I speak/write in Croatian, so there's no much pony references in my mind when I talk/think/write in Croatian. although, I just might drop in some pony references in my works where I'll be able to.. like naming my variables after ponies in codes and such :derpe:
I purposly wrote Equestrian on one of my bonus test questions. "Tell me a word I don't know" so I put Equestrian. So, I guess it was my choice, but I've never made a mistake on a paper and the teacher had to talk to me about it because it was related to ponies. I haven't done it YET......mwahahaha
I just rembered a time i wrote "Pony" instead of "plant" in a science lesson about plant growth. Anyway... yeah...
