So, Fast & Furious lead actor Paul Walker died last saturday, ironically by crashing into a tree with a sports car.

What will happen to Fast & Furious 7 is at the moment unclear, but will most likely be cancelled.

Quite frankly, I'm disgusted by how people are reacting to this.
I've read a few articles about Paul Walker, and about the driver, Roger Rodas.
In the comments, people are acting as if Walker was some sort of national hero, and treating Rodas as an "idiot," and a "murderer."
Two people died in a truly horrific way, and people are responding by showing just how low and depraved they can be.

I did laugh a little when I found out how he died, because, c'mon, a car crash? Seriously, of all the things.

Still, I feel sorry for the fellow.

It's one of those things you'd have never even considered could happen, and so it happens, and you're like ... Well fluff. We're all mortal at the end of the day :/

I didn't know the guy (obviously), but it doesn't sound like anyone deserves to die like that. RIP.

The F&F movies have been some of my favorites for the last 10+ years. So sad to see a good actor gone too soon.

I met him once. He was such a nice and humble guy. The world lost not only a good actor, but a good person too.

    RIP.

To be entirely honest, he wasn't much more than an average actor. He even said that himself. The only reason why he was good in Fast & Furious was because he genuinly loved cars, so it helped him build his character. I found him to be a bit average in any other movies i've seen him in.

That said, from what i heard he was a quite decent person with all the charity stuff he worked on.

T'be honest, I've never actually heard of the guy, nor watched his movies.
But, from what I hear, seems like he was a nice bloke. It's always saddening to see a good guy die.

So, yeah. Rest in Peace, Roger Rodas and Paul Walker.

When I heard the news, a Fast and Furious joke popped into my head and I immediately felt like a jerk.

I've never seen his movies, but it's obvious that he loved his work and he was loved by his costars and friends.

An awful event, but he definitely will be remembered fondly.

    I agree with you entirely.

I just found it disgusting that the media treated Walker as if he was a national hero of some sort. Some responses I've read are just poor.

I've only watched Fast and the Furious right up until the release of the Forth Movie, where Universal decided to milk the franchise for everything it had. The plot lost it's originality and power it had in the first three movies. It's not the same anymore. His death, I'd admit, was brutal. However, Paul Walker was a fantastic person who was loved by many. We're going to miss him.
