If its ever something to do with computing, you can ask me. that's right. Different Motherboards use different keys though, like mine can be F2 or Del. With more recent Motherboards and CPUs, its a lot more straightforward and noob-friendly to OC just a little. I wouldn't recommend using those Auto-tuning things like what TurboEVO has. - - Auto Merge - - Also, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59570451/adsf.bat Don't worry, its safe. If you don't like that, just run cmd. tracert -h 255 obiwan.scrye.net
I've played the overclocking game once or twice. I consider myself lucky to have gotten away with a couple of bluescreens. When I went back to normal settings everything worked fine, so for now I'm just carrying on with the assumption I didn't do any permanent damage to my system. I need to do my homework before I try again. lol I also had Fedora on one of my old laptops. It was nice but not being able to run exe's without help just bothered me too much. Build a toaster. It's just like a death ray but with a smaller power supply.
If you didn't go crazy overboard, then you'll be fine. If you overclock, be sure to start low, and steadily increase the power, with torture testing (IntelBurnTest of Intel CPUs (or prime95 but this one is better) and Furmark for Graphics cards) each incrementation, while watching the heat of the component you're OCing.
...I don't really know how to tech talk that well DX; So like if anyone has another topic they can talk about with me here it'd be much appriciated! Thanks
I still wish I had the know-how and supplies to successfully graft a computer and toaster together. It would be a glorious act of mad science!
Effort: Spent all evening building shelves to reduce the clutter in my living room. Result: My living room is now more cluttered than before.
