So, everytime I attempt to reply with a quote or edit a post I just did I get this. Also I have to rely on my knowledge of Code instead of the easy buttons at the top because some just flat-out don't work (They will just leave it blank or not input code into the reply itself. Is this a problem with Chrome or is my computer just derp'd to 11?
I'm not sure as I've just managed to Reply with Quote just fine with my own Chrome install. Try deleting your cache and we'll move out from there. Good to meet you by the way.
Okay, Now quoting replies work but edits still leave the blank box in the picture above. I'm going to uninstall Chrome and re-install and see if that helps
Have you tried turning your computer off and on again? Like, legit. I know this is a common internet joke, but just try it. Keeping your computer on sleep doesn't count. It doesn't get a chance to reset itself.
It is fixed apparently chrome was fragmented or something. I installed chrome again and it's working fine now.
Seems somewhat harsh. We'll look at our systems while you check out yours. See if theres anything installed on your chrome that would effect websites.
Heh. Thanks. Anyway, I can't seem to find anything immediately wrong with your account. Has there been any luck on your end?
This is a common issue that I had with vBulletin based forums using Internet Explorer. The answer is to quite simply use a different browser. Clearing cookies/cache helps, but it'll happen again eventually.
Thank you Saikyo but he's rather jumped the gun on you here as he's reported this happening with Google Chrome, not IE.
It's a caching problem (99.9% of the cases), it happens everywhere. Also I believe he's already said he fixed it by reinstalling chrome.
I agree with the above, although a much easier way to fix this is to simply invalidate the cached page and reload it, aka. Ctrl + F5. At least, that's what I do whenever something of the like happens. Considerably faster and less intrusive than reinstalling your browser.
I reinstalled chrome and it is working now. I had to uninstall my APNG (Animated .PNG) extension though. I have no idea why that was needed for it but it is working now ^^
...Whoops. Well, that's what I get for assuming it was IE since the exact same problem happened with me there.
