On my phone which is what i use to come on here, i try and open certain areas of the site life fan fiction and all that happens is that it comes up with the top and bottom bars but no topics or option to start a new. Any ideas. Using a nokia c3-00 through mobile lite site. Opera mini
Umm...My initial thought would be the age of your device and hardware. Have you had this issue with any other site? Also, this is a bug, not necessarily a complaint. Similar but definitely different so it's been moved there.
There's two more limited viewing styles for older phones with smaller screens. It's not super beautiful, but it might help you. Personally, I find that the first one is a little less of a headache to navigate with. You can switch between with the provided links at the bottom of each of those styles. Thanks for the help and no i have not had this on other web pages apart from occasinally my e-mail but that is usuallay a connection drop.
[MENTION=7671]EnderBrony[/MENTION] First of all I'd probably advise against Opera Mini, I've just never personally found it all that great. If it's only the fan-fic section that is tripping you up this may be because it doesn't run entirely on the default forum system it makes use of a mod to change the appearance and layout (might be worth the staff looking into if that's the case). If the issue is indeed totally random and happens everywhere, it's probably a scatty connection and I can only recommend you try using the mobile styles as mike suggested.
