    Modern police officers are more like a gang of armed playground bullies than actual law enforcement officers.
    The average person who carries a gun is hesitant to use it, and the ones who aren't usually can't hit the broad side of a barn.
    As for the military, they're all overseas.

    Either way, it doesn't matter.
