I usually refer to it as MLP, but only because it's quicker to write.

I usually just say My Little Pony.

Sometimes I'll write MLP when typing

OMG! I have all of my MLP sites filed under "The Show" in my favorites! I've got LPS under "The Other Show" and SheZow as "The Other Other Show". However, my Adventure Time stuff is listed by name. Anyway, I usually just say MLP. It feels odd saying My Little Pony. I don't really know why.

Whenever I hear the words "My Little Pony" spoken out loud, I get flashbacks to this:

It's all coming back to me... The VHS tapes... The Danish dub's utter inability to keep track of the names... THAT FRICKEN SOUND THE RAINBOW MAKES like you have no idea how nostalgic that awful sound is to me.
Even though I say "My Little Pony" every now and then to refer to G4, in the back of my head, those words will always be associated with the first gen.

EDIT: I found the episode with the giant puppy in Norwegian and I am laughing so hard my stomach aches omg.

That's...pretty funny. I kind of did something similar, only I titled them "pwnz". XD

Anyway, it does kind of bother me to say the full title, if for no other reason than the stigma that's attached to it. (Which is a pretty immature reason considering I walk around with pony t-shirts like nobody's business.) Plus, MLP is just easier to type and say. More often than not, though, I still refer to the act of watching the show as "watching pwnz".

I usually just say ponies when talking about it with friends. I do feel a little weird when I have to say My Little Pony to people who don't know I'm a brony.
