    I can't imagine living anywhere that doesn't have some sort of mountain range in the back, since I'm so accustomed to it. They're certainly lovely. My sense of direction is definitely going to be screwed up once I move away somewhere, as I'm well used to using the Rockies to tell me where I'm facing.

    Isn't there some trouble down there with drug lords? I seem to recall seeing on CNN just today that the teachers were going on strike because they didn't feel safe.

    How about Victoria? I was in that part of Canada when I was 10, and it was beautiful! Well, back then, any ways.

    And Alberta is the province my great-grandfather lived in for about five years, not far from Edmonton. Little bump of a town now, probably worse then. Oddly, I think my family's brief stay there is what caused me to be a hockey fan. ;)
