People who sling Latin terms for logical fallacies (ad hominem, ad ignorantium, etc.) at their opponents in an argument, especially when they don't even bother to tell you which part of your argument it supposedly applies to. Not every intelligent debater is going to know the entire glossary of such terms, so I see it as a ploy by the user to waste the other person's time by forcing them to look up the word, read and reread the definition until it makes sense, and then go back and try to analyze where the alleged fallacy took place in their own argument. It's ridiculous to assume that everybody knows terms from a DEAD language, so for FFS, please stick to plain English in your arguments.

I totally get where you're coming from with this, and I personally would probably see some people using the Latin terms to make people think they're smart or something.
In any case, for real, proper debating or things of that sort (like stuff to do with law or politics), it is quite necessary to know and use the Latin terms. I did a philosophy paper called Critical Reasoning, where we covered the basics of fallacies and arguments and things of that sort. We were told that it was strongly commonplace to use Latin rather than English. I see it as rather silly, but I guess its more a customary thing? I dunno.
I suppose what I'm saying is, I agree with you, but its not what is taught for debating/debate analysis.

Another type of people who annoy me, are attention seekers. People who lie, exaggerate excessively, or whatever to get attention, sympathy, whatever.
It especially irritates me when people are pretending to have health issues, especially mental ones, to get the sympathy they want.
Also, you don't have depression because you have a bad day or bad things happen to you. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, causing your mind and perception on things to skewer downward.
Aaaand, most people who have depression don't go out into strongly public areas and start complaining, they either keep it to themselves, or talk about their issues with people they trust.

I'm not saying that if you do have depression and you do something like that, then you don't have depression or whatever, I'm just saying what majority of affected people do.

Sorry if I offended people by saying something wrongly. I'm struggling with my wording recently :/

Mods who censor an already overly censored post. Seriously, what's the point of that?
    ---------

Aaaaanyways~, people who discriminate others for having different opinions than themselves are pretty disgusting. Earlier, I was called horrible names and told that I needed to kill myself because I believe in animal rights to a certain extent. I wasn't trying to push my beliefs on him, and wasn't saying my way was the only way. I simply stated that this is how I like to live, and he can go about living his own way in the most civil, and polite way possible, but that wasn't good enough.

I really don't think I, or anyone deserves to be treated that way simply because we think a certain way. I really wish people can be accepting of each other regardless of beliefs. Especially religious people, and non religious people. They seem to be at each other's throats more than anyone, even when the bible clearly says, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." If everyone would just accept each other and forget about differences, this world would be a better place. Too bad humans are so stubborn...

    ----------

I also HATE homophobes. That term isn't even accurate. They're not fearful of homosexuals. They're just *squee!*s.

I suppose it makes sense to use them in "formal" debates if it is indeed a customary thing (albeit a highly unnecessary custom, given that plain English terms would leave a lot less people adrift as to what's being said, especially in televised political debates), but I still think it's pretty cheap when people use these terms in more casual debates online. Makes it seem like they're trying to get the upper hand by confusing their opponents who, in all fairness, are probably raising good points despite not being educated in such formal terminology.

Anyway, here's another one: People who Instagram their food in the middle of a crowded area. Yeah...went to Christmas in the Park the other night (HUGE mistake), and the place was beyond jam packed. In the midst of it all, I could see this real yuppie of a girl taking pics of her milkshake and uploading them to Instagram. I was dearly hoping that someone would squeeze past her and knock the shake all over her, but that was just wishful thinking on my part.

    ...Yeah, I know. I'm a horrible person. :\

Biphobes, especially GSRM ones. You'd think there would be some understanding from people who have dealt with coming out themselves, but nope.
Also did I mention people who chew gum because I hate when people chew gum. I can't even do anything about it because of course people should be allowed to chew gum.

Well, it is murder. In a way... Just on a much smaller scale.

I'm all for eating meat, and would kill animals to survive if I really needed to, but I'd honor them. Thank them for their unknowing sacrifice. I wouldn't treat them like they're a lower being, but as a blessing.

    Just my views.

Well since humans defined murder, and murder is the UNLAWFUL killing of another human, it isn't.
It's killing, yes. But it's not murder.
As for the kind of people who irritate me? People who take everything personally.

    Nice Google skills.

I define murder as taking the life of anything. Even picking a flower is murder in my eyes. I'm not saying it's a crime to pick a flower, or kill an animal for food, I'm just saying that my definition of murder is killing anything that lives.

Your views are invalid to me, for three reasons: A) like wolfheartmoon said, murder isn't the same as killing; B) if other meat-eating animals are not expected to feel remorse for their prey, nor should any human being; and C) my consumption of meat doesn't mean I have any direct hand in the inhumane killing of animals. You could argue I'm indirectly linked to it, but that means nothing to me. Yes, if it were up to me, I'd make sure every cut of meat I ate came from an animal that was humanely put down. But I really have no control over that, ergo I can't be bothered to let something so trivial weigh down on my conscience. Sorry...just my views. :\

OT: Drivers who cut you off without signaling. It's just about the most A-holish thing someone could do on the road, is highly dangerous, and worst of all, is YOUR fault if you rear-end the guy as a result.

Animals are incapable of feeling remorse. Humans are. That's what makes us human. Maybe not killing for food, but I certainly view hunting for sport or skins as murder. If you're going to kill something simply for the fun of it, or for money, you're not an honorable person in my eyes.

And I happen to agree. Sport killing is a complete waste of nature's bounty, IMHO. But I'll never feel remorse for eating animal meat, that's all I'm saying. If you don't want to eat meat for the reasons you've stated, that's perfectly fine with me and I won't criticize your lifestyle. But now we're kind of risking an off-topic warning, so I'ma shut up now.

OT: In addition to drivers that cut you off, drivers who drive way too slow. And I'm not talking semis on icy country roads, I'm talking regular cars on bright, sunny highways with no hazardous conditions whatsoever. What the hell, man? (Actually, I recently got stuck behind a cop who got stuck behind a guy going 35 in a 55 zone, and the cop pulled him over. Maybe the po-po aren't so bad after all!)
