Honestly i don’t like Unity as much as Source from a developer standpoint. It feels too complex to make a simple map, you have to scale and rotate cubes to look right, and unity literally comes with no assets to work with aside from primitives, a few models, and some textures Source has a grid structure which the sizes of the squares can be changed as well as four windows to view your map, it also comes with all the half life 2 assets. The grid structure is faster and easier to edit than the free floating cube one simply because it allows fast changes. The UI is also much simpler without sacrificing functionality. Both are good engines but i just like working with Source better.

I'll agree with you on that. I look forward to playing around with the successor to Source by Valve. I've played the most with Unreal Engine though, which is fun.
Tried to play with UDK but it keeps crashing. Should work once i gut my PC and replace the parts. Just gotta wait for the processor to arrive and find a motherboard.
