I've said "everypony" and "somepony" a few times. Once, in a crowd of about twenty people, I cried out "Will somepony please tell me what's going on?" and five fellow bronies were immediately revealed to me. It made my day. Best part was, even the non-bronies got the reference.
I'm liking the 5/20 ratio. That means at work. There should be at least 6 other bronies in hiding. I'm one, now to hunt down my brethren.
I screw up a lot. Whenever I say something has increased in coolness, it's always 20%, much to the displease if me, although nobody knows what I'm talking about. The biggest pony-thing I've ever done was start drawing Rainbow Dash on my test, not fully aware I was doing it. When I looked down, I erased it as fast as I could.
...WHERE DO YOU LIVE?!?!?! No, but seriously, I don't think there's a single brony where I am... nopony here even seems to know of it, unless I talked to them about it. :derpe: I need to move to a city...
I almost forgot to post this. This wasn't on accident. There also is a grammar mistake: it should read '20% decrease in temperature'.
I don't think there are any other bronies besides me in my entire state. I'm sure there are, but they aren't on everypony as far as I know.
New Jersey statistically there has to be lol, we have such a high pop. density, although I've been keeping track of the "what state do you live in" thread and haven't seen anyone else say they're from my state yet
Okay, you've got to be kidding me. Of course there are bronies there. I've seen a few. The most bronies in any state that I've been to is New York. Even more than California and Florida, of which there are a lot of on BronyBase. there also seems to be a LOT of Dutch bronies. Now I haven't seen any in my state.
My fiction writing into this makes me actively ready to articulate "everyone/everybody" and "someone/somebody" sometimes. It wasn't an issue with the first one I wrote since I avoided the usage of "everypony/somepony" as much as I could, but it's a bit trickier now that I've incorporated it into the dialogue more casually. Writing is a double edge to your real life.
I've always been really good about not letting things that i would say around my friends out while talking to adults/parents/people that wouldn't understand. For instance, i will admit to cussing quite a bit. My friends and i say cuss words a lot. But i have never EVER let a bad words slip near my parents, or my teachers, or people who would think badly of me. I've never let cuss words, slang phrases, nerd references, or any kind of reference that would be embarrassing or complicated to explain to someone slip near someone who wouldn't get it or who would frown upon it. I don't know why. I always think that i will but i never do. My subconscious is really good at keeping me out of trouble. :Boo:
Maybe the problem is I stopped caring if people think I'm weird because of the obscure references I make. I don't have that guard up because it doesn't really embarrass me anymore. Maybe that isn't a problem, now that I think about it.
Nothing has happened yet though I must say I know of only one other Brony in my area and he is actually one of my friends, but sadly no others here in south Texas.
Once, just once, I said "everypony". It was ignored, thankfully. And that was really amazing. I'd probably do the same thing... possibly on purpose. :33
I actually just did an english speech last friday where I compared the cronstruction of Princess Celestia (Trollestia) to Wowbanger the Infinitely Prolonged (The Hitchhikers Guide). Reactions included "WTF?" "It must have been hard to say Princess Celestia without laughing" and "Best speech ever". Sad to say there were no bronies in the class though
