I know many have met bronies in real life, I'd love to be able to as well, but let's just say my area is... isolated. As for other media, I was really shocked when browsing though 'Playstation: The Official Magazine', and saw ponies. Here is the letter from Slenderman, who may or may not be SlenderMane from this site. If there are any instances, I'd love to hear them.
He won't respond... I'll hunt him down to thank him for making the guys (and gal) that create my favorite magazine bronies!
After finding out that MLPFiM air in Australia on the Nikelodeon channel, I have been tempted to see if there are any ponies in the pink aisle at a store. Probably won't though it's not really worth me going there just to realise I have no money to spare on them. I'm guessing that does not really count.
I have only met one brony and he lives 30 minutes away. I haven't yet confirmed the existence of other bronies.
Walk into that pink aisle like a boss anyway. I was at T.J. Maxx yesterday and saw a blimp. Looked closer and saw it was the Twilight Sparkle and Spike one. I almost bought it, then realized I was plagued by your problem as well. Just spent the rest of my money buying albums, and saving the rest for Battlefield 3.
I've seen them in the shops, and the toys advertised on TV... but that is about it. WHAT. WHATT. PONIES ARE GOING TO AIR ON NIKELODEON?! :yay:
Thought I posted in this thread before... oh well. I passed the pink toy isle in wal-mart yesterday, but didn't bother looking for any MLP stuff. It's not like I'm embarrassed (well, maybe a bit), but I don't see the point really. I'm a very practical person so a toy which has no real purpose other than decoration is kinda pointless to me. I'd rather spend my money on a shirt, then I could get some use out of it which would justify the purchase. I'm weird like that. :derpe:
I don't have any toys, just shirts. And coming soon, ad DJ Hero 2 skin with RD and Fluttershy, as I posted in another thread. I had a cutie mark for my Xbox (which is spray-painted gold!), but I just took it off, dunno why.
I have no clue what is happening with the RBD shirt site. Don't know what's happening... Anyways I know bronies around me. Well one is just a person who makes me and others custom ponies, and the one brony who made the $5,000+ Rainbow Dash Mascot Costume. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110740955959
Well I found a fan made vinyl scratch shirt for $10, and there's one or two on welovefine that I might get, so its all good. And that Rainbow Dash costume is nuts lol.
That's your friend? The coolest thing any of my friends have made is a Deadmau5 Xbox. It says 'Ghosts n' Stuff' on the front. He's a big fan, and wears a Deadmau5 shirt almost every day.
The expected price was around $2,000. Then again, the maker won't be remaking this costume and she lives in Orlando, Florida where I am... So I'm disappoint and have no money... I'd love to try it on at least once. Fans really wanted it so bad, they payed 2.5 times as much than the expected price. The one who made the custom ponies, like my Vinyl Scratch and Derpy. The one who made this custom is unknown, and I want to know who the maker is. She is somewhere around me, and I will eventually find them.
Just shout out "PONIES!" at random places. Always works. As for me, I really need to find who made this cake. They earned a special place in my heart.
I'm looking at the name at the bottom of that cake. Seems like the owner is far from us. Maybe... I have two more years, until I hope for a RD Cake.
It's Dutch, I asked my pony homie (I'm never saying that again) Galaick from BronyBase what it read, it's a first name.
