So I have an essay due tomorrow about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and despite it being pony related I still put it off until the last afternoon. I just thought I would share some interesting things I found while doing my research. I have to research how the show is marketed, here in Australia. So I found a funny Mcdonalds ad. I find this funny because I never would have thought I would ever under any circumstance actually want to pick the girls toy. In fact I know a girl in my class who is a pokemon fanafic and is actually doing her own essay on Pokemon. Imagine the both of us walking into Mcdonalds getting the kids meal and me picking the the pony girls toy and her picking the pokemon boys toy. Oh woops it wasn't pokemon, but anyway I know the situation could be possible, because right now the boy's toy is pokemon at mcdonalds. If that ever happens I am totally going to film the two of us doing exactly that. Even if I have to offer HER money to have the balls to do it. The comments are a riot to read, because most of them are from bronies and I LMOA at this one. Quoted by Teapawts This Ad isnt the real one. The real one goes like this. Boy: I like...blue. Man: I like red. Boy: I like Bakugan Man: I like My Little Pony. Bakugan is for little *squee!*s.
The mere assumption that the power of friendship could be beaten is simply ridiculous. Lol, if I ever went to McDonalds for whatever reason (I don't have one on island, and I usually avoid places like that) and they MLP toys, I don't know what I'd do. Using the crest of courage and all, I guess I'd have to go for it. :S
Japanese animes went too far and ran out of ideas lol. Seriously, Bakugan? What kind of stonerbuck came up with that idea? As if it's any different from those other 50 animes involving far too marketable franchise toys/card games... On topic, MAN TOY!
The only good Anime involving Cards was Yu-Gi-Oh, and that was before they got to the ~8th season. That's when things started to go to hell. MAAAAAAAAAAAN TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY.
...Bakugon's, alright.... Not that I'm in the target age for them, more like my brothers like them, and the toys... when you look at them, have some pretty ingenious ways of folding up. Manly toys: Yugioh (not that I buy anymore), Pokemon (not that I buy anymore either XD), figurines, PONY TOYS, lego. Kid toys: Beyblade (I find it intresting that it's popular in elementary schools again though), Bakugan, etc.... (clueless) <TCG/figurine collector, likes lego a lot. And, obviously huge pony fan. ^_^ ...actually, I fit in the teen section for age. So, I don't know if this fits in here :derpe:
well, i got three of them because the daughters of a friend "hated the toys" so he gave it to me ^_^ also around here there is no fluttershy or rarity
Haha. I wish they still gave out the toys in McDonalds. I was a bit late or something when I was actually a brony. I could always go on eBay and see how much a set would cost... ________ Man Toys - Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Shipping Ship. Boy Toys - Anypony that isn't already in the Man Toys. P.S: This is the ultimate man toy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110740955959
View attachment 1313 This is the design for the skin I got for my DJ Hero Controller. I have two, so the other one will be Fluttershy.
I wasn't a brony when my McDonalds had them. Now they have Ben 10 and Twinkle toes or something like that. MAN Toys- Pony anything, but specially Rainbow Dash. boy toys- everything else.
