There were 10 or so cop cars outside my house along with an ambulance and a SWAT vehicle. Apparently there was a situation with my teenage next-door neighbor. I don't really know anything about it, but he was flushed out of the house with tear gas. The cops have mostly dispersed by now.
That seems like a reasonable response. It's not like cops are supposed to physically fit enough to take down a kid, or anything like that. Who knows? Maybe the boy was so imposing that a trained law enforcement officer wouldn't have stood a chance against him.
For all I know, he could have had a hostage and a gun. They probably had a reason for it all. Nice sarcasm, though.
Yeah... I'm not exactly fond of the police. Somewhere along the line, they forget how to protect and serve, and became just another gang of armed criminals.
