Oh. Assuming they are really working on this movie, does this mean season 5 will have 13 episodes again? Think about it. 13 perfectly good pony episodes sacrificed for a generic (?) human high school battle of the bands movie. *ominous music* Still looking forward to it?
I'm not overly excited about it, but I wasn't too pumped about the first movie either and ended up enjoying that, so who knows, might make it two for two if I don't go into it with big expectations and it might be decent. @Tyro The Fox I may have to open a link for that song for the rest of the day now that you have reminded me of it. It has been a while since I last heard it. Now, if you'll all excuse me.
Eh. I enjoyed the first one despite all the plotholes, so as long as this one also has no impact on the continuity of the main series, I'll give it a watch. I must say, though, if the main selling point of the first one was seeing the ponies humanized, I don't know how much more another one would bring to the table.
It's funny that so many people think that the fans, or even the writers of the show, have any say in this sort of thing. Hasbro saw that EqG made them a bunch of money. Now, they're going to try to make even more money with a sequel. It doesn't matter what the fans want, or if the show will suffer for it. All that matters is the money.
Every time I read "Rainbow Rocks", I think of Rocks. With rainbows on them. It's the first thing to pop up in my head. Anyway, a bad title for a likely bad film. I think I'll avoid this one.
Agreed. Until we see at least a trailer of it, I'll hold my opinions until then. Hasbro/DHX is really on a roll when it comes to MLP. Let's hope they keep it up!
