I was thinking about that too. Part of me thinks gen 4 would handle them much better than the monstrosity that is gen 3, and would like to see what they could do, but another part of me wants nothing to do with previous generations, especially the horrid third...

After rewatching the episode, I noticed a couple more things. (One of which I was clearly not the first one to notice.) 1. Ponies are NOT vegans. -During Discord's song, he asks for "Codfish oil." Considering that codfish oil is taken from the fish's liver, this means that ponies kill the cod to get it. While it's not canon confirmation of ponies eating meat, it's certainly evidence of it. 2. Ponies use toilets. When Discord sneezes and blows away the house, you can see Bon Bon with a towel on her head, standing in front of a toilet.
1. I thought that ponies not being vegan was already confirmed by them using milk or eggs. On the other hand, jumping from them knowing about codfish oil to them eating meat is quite a stretch. 2. Was there ever any doubt?
