We had a few concerns that CP's were getting too short. So who better to wring it out for hours than me, ay? Spoiler: Vaguely Relavent Trivia There, you are informed. So let's start this Community Post which was first started on this site by Former Admin and notable particle physicist; Foxytail. While single-hoofedly building the Large Hadron Collider, she chanced upon a Newsletter for the 'CERN Tiddliwinks, Badminton and Kangaroo Racing Club' and marvelled at the comprehensive way the simple flier was able to keep the members abreast with the latest techniques for performing the 'Suspicious Badger' move effectively or better methods of staying within the pouch at top speed. St. Foxilliousington The Three-and-Seven-Eighths, Esquire wrote the first Community Post to marry the warring factions of Forum Members and Factual Information to create peace and harmony with The Community Post as a firmly established institution. Nothing of this magnitude had happened since Everypony's founding in 1867 due to the unprecedented popularity for the radioplay One's Rather Small Horse. The 'Horsies' flooded to the weekly gatherings that took place in Brighton for over a hundred years before the invention of the internet, where swapping of stories, fun and gayety of all kinds could be done instantly. Thus, we are brought to today. In this fine tradition, let us begin with our first item. - Radio News Because I'm writing this, I get to go first, so nyah! The 'February is Boring' event that will last the whole month is drawing near, starting next Thursday. A big poster and further details of this big ol' excuse to act silly and give away prizes will be coming very, very soon. Stay tuned, folks! However, I can reveal that the movie that won the vote was Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. So, get ready for Food Pills, Overblown Acting, Awkward Moments of Seriousness and Laughing in all the Wrong Places. Remember that the Friendship Cannon Podcast is tomorrow on Saturday at 12PM EST. There's a good chance I'll be extra good this week seeing as they've had more time than usual to sample this weeks episode then form opinions on it. Fun Fact: Some say that 'Weird Al' himself just "Accidentally Dropped the episode out of his Coat Pocket" while walking through Galacon, coughing loudly and shouting 'I do hope no one finds this episode and releases it a few days early! That would be terrible!'. He then made his getaway in a car shaped like a poodle. Fun Fact: Tyro does actually know what 'The Fox' said but is a well-kept secret from the first ever fox to learn how to read The Hitchhiker's Galaxy by Douglas Adams. This fox was also able to fathom the Question to Life, The Universe and Everything and did say it out loud. However, it was considered too much for the world to know, and thus, has been a secret. However, every Fox holds a clue to this conundrum which they have been known to use as barter for very comfortable jobs. - Recommended Reading This is interesting. Not since the Neutron Hat (that would boil rainwater before it hit you) has there been a series of items that so captivate the imagination and magnetize the wallet. These appealing MLP badges and bags look fantastic. There's even a CMC one! It's so cute! Rockout has been busy. In the drama of his escapades, he has been attempting to build a model of the OC which you can track the progress off in the thread. He's also been trying to find a new name for his 'Rule 63' version. Lastly, he's released a comic too. According to my sources, there is a planned Humanised, Vulpine, Edwardian, Fairy, Nuclear Moleman and Green versions of Rockout expected to come. Another pony that's been busy doing things is Yami. The productive ol' chap has been creating an expansive Let's Play library for a long while. Check him out! Support the cause because he's clearly not stopping for a while now. Especially with 500 planned episodes of Mindjack, Bubsy 3D and Action 52 alone. The man is a martyr. More from busy ponies now with Crimson Lionheart and a project for a Downfall/Bunkerland-esque parody of The Lion King. This will use the German version of the film but use the subtitles to tell the story, altering the characters depending on who signed up. And I signed up for Mufassa. If you secretly wanted to see Henry (A.K.A Saikyo (who signed up for Scar)) toss me off a cliff into a fatal stampede, your strangely specific wish has been granted! Fulcrum has made a video relating to the Community Post of last week. He asked me to pass this on, as well as this post about positive thinking he was taught in his training as a pilot. I wrote a review on the Android Version of Sonic 2. I was surprised as anyone to find not only was it cheap but it was actually possible to play it. Lastly, I wish you to give your attention and hugs to several targets: Target #1 Target #2 Target #3 Go and deploy a little fun and compassion, ay? Well, that just about wraps up this Community Post. I will now retire to my home planet on my speedboat-tiger, Jim. Good day to you all. (I'd just like to point out that some of the information in this CP is complete and utter rabbit droppings and is so silly that you can probably tell what is a joke and what isn't but I need to put this hear because it might be believed by a particularly litigious lawyer or something. This is also the stupidest thing I have ever, ever written. Oh! The part about John Wayne being Genghis Khan? Totally true. It still get into fits of giggles over that.)
Thanks for the mention and another good CP Tyro. Sign up's for the project have closed, and I'm working currently on Episode 1 Also, the actual movie with "Genghis Wayne" was terrible, scoring 3/10 on IMDB. I remember when Temujin shot a flaming arrow to signal his troops to enter Urga, but it it is night, but when the troops see the arrow, it is daylight.
As for the CP itself: Effort! Honest to God effort! Keep 'em up. It's a definite improvement over the previous posts. It's got the sugar, spice, and everything nice. It just needs some chemical X to turn it into something truly memorable and long-lasting.
Yank life by the lips as hard as you can...ah! I love that movie. It's almost an hour and a half music video of his except there's story to it.
Well not everyone can put the razzle dazzle sassafraz into the commpunity post that I used to. Give it time.~ Awesome CP Tyro.
Tbh, i don't think anyone could manage to razzle the frazzle and dazzle like you used to zazzle, but i beg them to tryo.
Oh I didn't notice until now Tyro. Thanks for adding me into the community post. Also great post this week, Keep the coming!
Yeah, I realized that and was like well ok. I screwed up. And didn't feel like editing it to say rhyme
@Tyro The Fox The title of this community post confused me until I realized that there was a derp in the grammar. Not sure if it was intentional, but I've never seen "We'll I'll" used as a language construct before. Sent from my SGH-T899M using Tapatalk EDIT: Hmm, you fixed it.
