The friend that got me into "My Little Pony" lives almost two hours away and in four days, she will officially be joined in with the Navy. =( She is fun and I'll miss her. I also don't know anyone else that likes MLP. I've tried getting my other friends or siblings into it, but they never give it a chance or show little interest. I've even tried to talk about it with the kindergarteners I take care of hahaha. But they mostly comprehend just the colorful cuteness of course. It's so aggravating to like something so much and have no one to discuss it with. I'm sure it's more common than I realize to be the only person you know of in real life that likes MLP. Just curious!

I'm the only MLP fan that I know in the real world, and I prefer to keep it that way.

I could go into a long explanation, but it would easier to sum it up as not liking people.

I'm the same. I know a few bronies in real life, but I'd rather not get together with a group of them.

I guess I should take into account that simply liking the same show as someone doesn't mean they'll be fun to hang with lol.

You never know. My brother lives up north from me, in Shaumburg near Chicago, he was able to find quite few people up there. I think he skypes with some and he has a livestream when doing his art. Me on the other hand, he's the only one I personally know as I've only recently gotten into MLP.

Just keep talking to people on here. You may find somepony that lives fairly close.

I don't know of any other fans in my vicinity. But I don't know that many people in general, either, so yeah.

So far the only other brony I know outside the net is my niece, who I got into the show shortly after I became addicted. But we've only had a couple of short discussions, along with maybe a text here and there during the new episodes. I don't really see her much, she's busy with her sophomore year and all that being a teenager entails, and doesn't have much time for her dopey uncool uncle, which I understand. So I still consider myself a party of one, would be nice to meet others though. Being in a pretty diverse and populated city I know there are a lot around, just haven't made the effort to find them yet.

This is quite true. I used to know this guy at work who professed love for all things Doctor Who, but in truth, had no clue what he was talking about. I'm guessing he watched one episode once, and thought that made him an expert. I hid in my TARDIS until he quit.

As for me, the only other Brony I know is my wife, and we tend to hang out together a lot anyways! :)

And as for being all alone, don't sweat it. There's other things in life.

(Looks out over my wasteland of a social life)

Well, *some* people have other things in life.

Oh, I know what you mean! The only other Brony I saw in real life was at a Walmart parking lot. This guy had on a an mlp hoodie but he was screaming "MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENSHIP IS MAGIC!!!" in a very unpleasant, tone-deaf way. People were very annoyed. I don't think that's the best way to spread word about a show you like lol. I do have lots of other things I like, but it's bothersome to have no one to discuss MLP with, but oh well! That's why I joined everypony I guess. =)

I did see a guy wearing one of those pony hats - Vinyl Scratch, to be precise - walking along the street and behaving very oddly. I'm not sure how to describe it, it was just sort of one of those things where you looked at them, and wanted to go the other way. Or maybe that's just me. Any ways . . . very creepy.

I have a friend but he only watches the show when he hangs out with me, he doesn't watch the show when he's by himself.

I watch the show by myself, but I don't want to tell my friends because they might spread rumors about it and people might look at me like this and say: "What a weirdo."

I don't know any other bronies in my area. But, the day I became brony I was making my best effort to be open and honest about it. Why? Because I tried to hide being a TLK fan at first and eventually it became something I was afraid to talk too much about while not online. I want to not feel ashamed or embarrassed about something there is nothing wrong with. And, I would like to meet other bronies that are about my age. I am trying to find a way to possibly attend BronyCon.

@ Sonicpulse: I am not suggesting you go around announcing it to everybody, but why would those who love you start to hate you if they found out. I personally don't see any fault in a fandom that embraces love and tolerance or a show about true friendship. In the end, it is up to you who you tell.

But, on a personal note, I did feel nervous about being honest to those who asked. The night before last I was listening to brony music on YouTube and I heard this one song that seemed to speak almost directly to my current emotions. I think it was "Great to be Different" by Forest Rain. I will edit and provide a link if I can find it.
