Databending

Something I've been up to lately...

Databending is the act of putting data through programs not originally intended to be used in. It is a form of glitch art.
I've put images through Audacity and added audio effects to get crazy, glitchy visual effects. Check them out!

Only a few frames survived the output from the 10 second clip that I trimmed out.
If you look closely, you can still see some of the characters.
I only reverbed the video through Audacity. It has less aesthetics and more moshed-up colors, so this isn't my favorite bend.

I tried bending a video. Only a few frames made it to the output, and, by boogily, were they screwed up. They didn't turn out as well as the picture bends, though.
