Don't do that. Give the staff time. A lot of them are busy with life right now. Hear what they have to say first, please. Just because an answer doesn't come soon doesn't mean it won't ever come.
All we could do on our own is put a link in our sigs, and i've tried that. It's not very succesful. That's not the point though. We need the site's radio to attract people. Just advertising the plug.dj while there's a dead radio on site won't help EPR at all. The site's radio needs to be renewed or replaced entirely with something better. Everything we've tried in the past failed, so i'm asking the staff to do something new. I commend Dragonbait for notifying members of how the Shoutcast works, but in the long run that won't do anything. There's no point in logging onto a livestream of youtube videos to request songs if people can just as easily go on youtube and look for the songs themselves. I always found the whole "request a song from our DJs" stuff to be a little redundant when you consider that. With Plug.dj, people could at least have a little fun making their own playlists and sharing them with others. But considering Grey and Mike's opinions, i would encourage the staff to look into other options as well. It's been over a week. I'm not asking for a direct solution here. I know that's impossible, not to mention stupid to act rashly about it. But some form of acknowledgement of this problem from the staff would be nice.
Waiting is boring, being pro-active isn't. Plus staff could probably take over on work others get started on. Wouldn't be too difficult, surely. It is possible to change things.
I agree that a week is a bit long, but they will get to it when they get to it. There are a variety of personal events happening to staff members at the moment that, in most cases, is preventing them from speaking on the subject matter. Be a bit more patient. I'd say give it another week, and then take it to your own hands.
That's the excuse every time tho. I get that people have stuff to do, so do I, but out of the 6 radio staff one could respond? Just sayin
I rarely see any radio staff on here, besides Viper. It's been well known for a long time now that most radio-staffers don't really pay much attention to the forums.
Maybe they should start? There's an idea. All I'm saying is if 6 people really are too busy or couldn't be arsed to look at a thread regarding the platform with which they are assigned to work and improve on within a week, then maybe someone else needs to do the job.
I am inclined to agree. But still, we can't really tell staff what to do, only suggest things. Whether they want to take these suggestions into account is entirely up to them. So the most we can do, literally, is just wait, since trying to do otherwise, 99% of the time, will result in drama.
mike406 Henry We should take this somewhere else and leave this thread to the actual radio issues, don't you think. :derpe:
Quite right, I'd say. It is a problem that needs to be addressed, but I'm certain it will be in time. Or, at least... I hope so.

I am closing the thread. Please continue any further discussions in private via PM or Skype to the staff. Nothing good is going to come out of arguing on this thread. And I am going to nip it before it gets any worse than it already is.
