She makes sure to focus on her friends since they are the most important to her. Whenever somepony needs advice or a shoulder to cry on, she is there no matter what. On rare occasions, she has had to step up to defend her friends in petty arguments, which proves that she is dedicated. Flaws: Super shy around strangers [Character History] Irelynn Skye was born and raised in Cloudsdale. Her parents had opposing viewpoints of how she should grow up. Her father insisted on her becoming a weather pony, but her mother simply wanted her to be happy. She hated disappointing her parents, especially her father, so she set her sights on becoming a weather pony after her schooling. Her social life was almost nonexistent if it weren’t for her small group of friends. When she was surrounded by friends, she was never afraid of dabbling in various forms of art, especially painting. Eventually, she warmed up to her small group and began showing her friendly side. She always found herself laughing and having a good time, not having a care in the world. Irelynn felt close enough to her friends to the point she never feared to express herself verbally, especially when someone is being bullied. Even though she earned her cutie mark (see above) at a young age, she still continued to pursue becoming a weather pony. Her father took her into the sky to practice clearing the skies. When he wasn’t paying attention, she would manipulate the clouds to take the shape of objects she saw in her daily life. A few years later when she turned 10, her father began taking her to work in the weather factory where Irelynn worked producing clouds. While she was working, she missed being able to sculpt and paint magnificent pictures, so she found herself sculpting the clouds into more intricate shapes, such as birds and other creatures she has encountered. This became her daily routine for the entirety of her teenaged years since she never looked forward to going to work with her father. On her 18th birthday, Irelynn seemed particularly distraught about her chosen path in life. Being a weather pony was not her true calling, she only went through with the job to make her father proud. Of course, it wasn’t a busy day since the sun was shining high in the sky. She produced a few fluffy clouds and went to work creating a new masterpiece, a sculpture of herself. Without warning, her dad discovers her “slacking” off on the job and almost made a move to destroy her art. However, he hesitated as soon as he realized that his daughter made a cloud sculpture of herself, somehow including minor details. Impressed with her work, he made a promise to let her do whatever she wanted with her life. [Current Home] Her dream was to move to Ponyville and open a little art shop to sell her paintings, so her father sent her on her way with enough bits to rent out a place. Even though she was only 18 at the time, she knew exactly how to live and operate a shop on her own. Now that she’s 21, she has developed a large enough customer base to afford her own permanent home in Ponyville where she hopes to stay for many years.
