I was going for a classic "femme fatale" type of character. I prefer to leave dark and spiky to the otakus.
I was hoping that my tablet might work properly if I used a different program, like MS Paint. It didn't. Still, at least I managed to finish a drawing.
Might be a driver issue. You've said you recently "upgraded" to Windows 8.1? It seems a lot of people complain of driver issues with 8.1. Have you tried to reinstall them? If there isn't a Windows 8 driver out yet, while I can't necessarily vouch for this method as I don't own Windows 8, you might wish to try this: Uninstall the driver first of course. Then when you download it again, right click the driver's .exe or its installer and goto Properties. Then Compatibility tab. Change the Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 (or whatever version they say it was made for) and try installing it that way. This type of process has helped me to get old Windows 2000 era games to work on Windows 7, maybe it'll work for you. Create a System Restore point before doing doing all of this in case you need to roll back for whatever reason. Hope it helps.
While I do appreciate the advice, I understood almost none of that. I'm very, very bad at computers. I intend to solve the problem by yelling at my computer until it does what I want it to do.
Well it's mostly step by step. The important bit out of all of that is the compatibility mode, which I think the instruction was mostly clear. The file you double click on to install the driver is what I meant by the .exe. The system restore bit however is optional, just to help undo a screwup if one happened. You don't necessarily need to do that part. If you give me the brand and model of the tablet I can try and point you to what driver you need to download if it will help. Though to look up the model you will probably need to get the purchase info if it doesn't say it on the tablet itself or find it on the site you bought it from. Up to you though.
