I too am unemployed and am currently going to try and Volunteer at the Lady Lex, which could wind up being a place I get an actual job at.
Rashall@ Going to guess Russia (or the USSR at the time of attempt) but I feel I'm wrong. Right now I'm a Anthropology Major and Museum Studies Minor. I work like to work in the field of Musicology and Ethno-musicolgy. I'm also looking to do mix medium work with music and history since I love both fields and really want to and need to do something with music but I don't have any taste for performance majoring. I am also looking into music business, producing and other things in the field as possibilities to study and work in.
You are actually correct!!! the USSR was the first country to try and invade Afghanistan, but the United States gave the Taliban the weapons capable of shooting down the Soviet Helicopters. Check out Concept 1 by Kodomo its a really great song, if your into this type of music that is
Career Goals...I had them, but a combination of classic underacheivement, panic, and uncertainty led me to go to college and get a degree in a field that I don't particularly care for. Now I'm out, and working in an industry unrelated to my degree. However, I have contacts at a certain large transportation company, and am applying to become a Locomotive Engineer (train driver). I think it would be an awesome career and am really enthusiastic about it, however much a long shot it may be. Other than that...I dunno.
Hurrah XD I'm starting to learn about Rus/Russia/USSR/Russia so I'm a bit shaky on their history. Nice but not my genre of focus or taste (I'm a classical pony with a mix of folk music and jazz). However I do love to exploring new music. Just found a lovely rendition of Robert Schumann: Träumerei by a beautiful double bass player Mario Schott-Zierotin.
@LuvlyTeaCrumpet- did you listen to the music? because I have a ton of music I think you would enjoy. Do you Remember the Steve Miller Band per chance or how about Men at Work?
Laundry by Midwest Product is good too, I have it all in a collection on my youtube account called story music, because I can see parts of my story in the back ground when certain songs play.
