Sorry if this sounds rude but it feels like you're god-modding a bit Crim. With the whole bulletproof vest and leggings thing causing absolutely no injury while everyone else pretty much suffers badly (Especially me) as well as easily and quickly spotting the bomb.

I think it should be mentioned that my character prefers sniper/stealth engagement when under the heat of battle, as well as the fact that the gas mask he currently is wearing is sort of a "formal" mask. When prepared for battle, he's more so like in this picture.

I'll cool it down on the killing spree, because a single man could do it, but it would take years of training, so I'll cool it down.

Sorry if I'm god-modding, I do it rarely and almost always on accident. The bulletproof vest and leggings did not protect him enough to cause no injury, as Rene got injured, but Rene delt with the pain like it was nothing. It never actually caused him to have no injury, but he did get hurt, but not enough to do visible damage.

Also, the bomb thing with the snipers was kind of overdoing it. I'm sorry if it ruined the mood. Always alert me if a particular plan or action is not the wisest for the RP's we do.

I guess they all left due to them losing interest. Seeing how we are basically the only people left, I guess we can turn this into a 1 on 1.

I could pop back in if you want but I'd a small history lesson on what's happened.

I'll have a timeline for this RP soon for any of you interested. This should help with the events of the role play and the back story.

I love alternative history and what-if historical scenarios, so I'm sure your going to love this.

Actually, no. He'll die off soon just like Alkosta, but he will die a good death. He wears the gas mask because his inspiration was your character, he won't get killed by your character but he's more a freelancer than anything. He'll die off soon.

I wrote this for you guys to help with the alternate timeline, and as an interest of mine. This was really fun to write, so I'll do post war events as well later

    Fatherland: Updated alternate history (1938-1941)

Pre-20th century points of divergence: A United Scandinavia (Scandinavian Union)becomes a reality in the 19th century and is a very significant regional power but not quite large enough (Scandinavia being underpopulated and all) to be a Great Power on a world scale. The majority of WW1 for the Union is fighting against Russia and Germany.

1938: Modern Point of Divergence in timeline. Hermann Goring died in this year. In the days following his death Himmler and Goebbles all vied for the vacant position of Reichsmarschall, but Hitler surprised everyone by appointing his Minister of Armament, Albert Speer to the role. Only twelve months before Speer had merely been Hitler's architect. A highly skilled administrator, Speer had been able to double German production during the remainder of 1937 and 1938. Despite having no military experience, his natural ability to get things done quickly won him support of the Wehmacht high command and was a vital link between Hitler and the military. Hitler also trusted Speer far more than his Prussian generals and would come to the point where he would sigh anything that is sent by him. Elsewhere across the world, the Soviet Union is invaded by the Empire of Japan in the Asian theater alongside territories in Vietnam and Mongolia in July before ordering a cease-fire and turning their attention to the Pacific and the US and European holdings.

1939: Germany invades Poland in September, where Britain and the countries of the Commonwealth declare war on Germany but provided little assistance other than a naval blockade in the Atlantic with the intention to damage the country’s economy and war-effort. Japan launches attacks against China and the Soviet Union once more with devastating results, receiving a kill/death ratio to almost 5 to 1 in both fronts. The Soviet Union and Japan realize that a peaceful outcome is now impossible, and now enter a full-scale war. The Soviet Union is defeated quickly and loses much of its territory in Far Eastern Siberia

1940: By this year, Germany has invaded France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, all of the countries being overwhelmed within a few days and weeks. Not long later, Italy enters WW2 on the Axis side and effectively forces France to surrender, allowing 125km of southern French territory become an area of Italian occupation. By June, only Britain remained the only serious threat in the War in Europe. Hitler focuses on a land based attack rather than an airborne assault, taking the English Channel and then moving towards London. Ireland violently retakes Northern Ireland during the chaos, allying itself under Germany to help secure its independence. With Germany fighting in England, Italy moves into the Mediterranean stage by invading Greece, coastline areas of Turkey and Northern Africa. Japan presses deeper into China, mowing down anything down in their path while moving downwards towards Singapore and Indonesia. By December 2nd , Singapore is captured by Japan in less than two hours. Italy failed to invade Greece and was pushed into Albania until German intervention came to assist Italy, eventually defeating an exhausted Greece. Italian occupation moves to the south into Africa, reaching as far as Egypt until stopping entirely for the rest of the war.

The neutral United States took measures to assist China and the Western allies as a trade supplier, but the American public overwhelmingly opposed military intervention well into 1941, an unknowingly fatal mistake in the future. The Axis expanded rapidly as Hungary, Romania and Slovakia in November 1940 joined the Tripartite Pact. To make matters worse for the allies, Fascist Spain soon joined the Pact. Back in Asia, Japan and China had entered a ceasefire as both sides’ experienced enormous casualties on both sides ranging in the millions as conflict was put off. The Soviet Union had now turned its full attention to the war in Europe.

1941: Germany is the undisputed master of Europe, having fully operational nuclear weapons by this year by scientists such as Albert Einstein (For this timeline, focused on Nuclear Physics instead of Black Holes and worked with the Nazi’s) although never using any in combat due to repercussions after the war. Germany invades the neutral nation of Turkey. Within its close proximity with the Greek border and the poorly armed and organized Turkish army, Constantinople surrendered in less than a week, creating a bridgeway into the middle-east for the Nazi’s for a future assault on the oil fields to supply the war machine, devastate Allied resources and operate as the perfect platform for an invasion of Russia. This section of the war is dominated in the Middle East, where Germany’s superior commanders, Guderian and Erwin Rommel, defeated the last remaining British Army presence in the area and gave the German economy complete control of the oil resources of the Middle East, which would remove a key weakness in of the German economy (it's dependence on foreign oil) and give the Third Reich the capability to maintain sustained warfare during an assault on the Soviet Union which is planned for sometime in the next year.

By September 1941, Rommel and Guderian’s forces advanced on the Suez from the east and sieged the English for a week. With most of its vital supplies from its colony of India and with most of its land based armed forces wiped out, England refuses to surrender despite their enormous cost of human life.

In October 1941, with German troops already advancing rapidly towards London, the British makes a last stand against their German enemy. Facing pressure from a newly independent Ireland to surrender, Germany allows England a final chance to surrender to their terms or face total destruction, which was refused with the English ‘Killing the messenger’. In the night of Christmas, the Luftwaffe began a blitzkrieg tactic rained hell upon all airports in London and the surrounding areas while also firebombing extremely populated areas of the city, particularly Greater London.

The attack on London soon turned into a curb-stomp battle by the Nazi's, resulting in the death of the Royal Family and almost 3/4 of the population of London. All of southern England was attacked by the Nazi’s, but nowhere near the scale of London. In the next morning, London appeared post-apocalyptic with rebuilding likely to take ninety years. With an arrival of jet technology, the German’s dominated Europe in the war of the air, often having a kill ratio of 6 to 1.

British High Command had no choice but to surrender, having lost roughly 25-30% of its total population in a single night. The Germans met the British on that day and offered them exceptionally generous surrender terms. The British were to retain all of their empire intact and would be allowed to continue to receive supplies from India via a German controlled Suez. The Germans would also continue their policy of not interfering with or attacking supply convoys from America across the Atlantic, providing these supplies were not of military nature. Germany also gave assurances that no German troops would be present on mainland Britain. However a key condition of the surrender was that all remaining British naval vessels and RAF aircraft were to be handed over to the German Wehrmacht, with no attempt made to destroy any of these assets. The once all powerful British Empire was reduced to almost nothing more than a 2nd world nation and a client state. The terms of surrender were signed in what remained of Buckingham Palace, officially ending the war in Western Front.

Europe was now considered a lost cause to the Americans and abandoned any military action in Europe entirely and focused on a possible attack by Japan in the pacific.

Meanwhile, Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan and triggered a war between America and Japan, awakening both of the sleeping giants from their slumber in what would become an absolute bloodbath in the pacific.

1942-1945 coming soon. Further events after WW2 will be written much later.
