The rules are they have to be YOUR OC, not from the famed 6 or background ponies that already exist in the show, but YOUR OC. I will base my scores on the following: - Creativity - Orginality - Style - and Personality To get started, post a picture of your OC, along with a description of your OC's personality or backstory. If they have a cutiemark explain what it means and how it involves with your OC. I will use the scoring method of 1 to 5, 5 being the Excellent, 1 being poor. This is all based on my honest opinion, I am an artiest but I am NOT a professional judge of pony OCs. I keep the backstory open so he's more available to RP (even though I don't do it much), but it's usually him just setting out on his own after he's tired of smithing and/or the big city, where he can't get any peace. His cutie mark means he's a blacksmith. His backstory doesn't contain any family, again, for more flexibility. He's reserved and not very adventurous, but he tries to be kind and helpful. edit: Ah, and he's very down-to-earth (or Equestria, in this case?).
Okay, fair enough... Bear in mind that she was created for RPs in a particularly violent AU. She's in her mid-twenties. Her father is a Kirin and a high-ranking Night Guard, and her mother is a Pegasus snowflake carver and a master thief. She grew up in Canterlot, and trained with her father in the Everfree Forest. She is highly intelligent, and skilled at both armed and unarmed combat. Working hard to prove that she is just as skilled as her father, she graduated at the top of her class from Canterlot Military Academy, and was accepted into the Night Guards. She served for a little over a year, and rose through the ranks quickly, eventually becoming her father's second-in-command. After a tabloid story accusing her father of nepotism and calling her dangerously inexperienced was released, she became the laughingstock of Canterlot, eventually resulting in an incident where she attacked an important noble for calling her "spoiled." Kicked out of the Night Guards, and facing possible imprisonment, she fled to Ponyville and opened a dojo, leaving her father to sort out the mess she had left behind. Her personality is best described as chaotic. Though usually kind and caring, she developed a reputation for unnecessary cruelty towards her foes while in the Night Guards. Her cutie mark is a crescent moon and stars, and represents her love of the night sky, and the freedom it offers.

Despite this thriving, Delphinium is not exactly a "wealthy" pony. He lives in a room in the back of his shop. Delphinium's proceeding element of harmony is Generosity. Pictures in the avatar because I'm on my iPad, so I can't get one of the two better images. (is the white one with the black hair) Name: Dreamer Cutie-mark: Comic-book style thought bubble Talent: A pseudo "future sight" where instead of seeing the direct future he sees a myriad of possible futures, all of which could theoretically happen, but of course only 1 will. This causes him to occasionally have moments of seeming total senility where he will react to an incorrect future. Personality: Generaly oblivious and good-hearted. Tends to take things he enjoys a bit too far and regretting it for a short while before apparently forgetting it. Backstory: Just an ordinary kid. Not popular, not outcast. Hiding a secret crush on that one teacher, Mr. Stone. He just lived his life watching everyone live their lives. One day he just sort of started seeing things happening before they did, what he saw wasn't always what would happen, but when it did he sort of enjoyed it. Eventually the sight became more obvious and he started trusting some of the more realistic things he saw. Eventually, they just became part of who he was, and started his troubles. He is currently a novelist, writing stories based on the alternate paths he's seen that are too ridiculous to be anything but science fiction or fantasy, and he lives a peaceful, low cost life in ponyville.
As far as OC's go, I'd rate yours an 11/10. I don't see many good OC's out there, I don't even like half the OC's I've made, but yours is utterly fantastic. Dreamer, I like that name and the personality to match. He's got that 'Next' sight stuff going on. His description sounds relatable and he's not overly flashy. I really like characters with some interesting psychological profiles, probably why most of my OC's have horrid backstory's. I don't really know him that well but I already love him ^^
Skylar's Creativity: A white pegasus with a dubstep hair style and a heroic personality that’s misguided by a young spirit at times. He loves his friends and is a simple design though easily recognizable! 3 stars ***** Originality: Thought out very well in regards to how he is presently compared to what he was in the past after sad circumstances. His reaction around others is one of mixed, he either trusts them or feel like he'll fail them and himself in some way. Very original. 4 stars ***** Style: His cutiemark came about after rough but incredible circumstances, discovering something about himself, that he was more then the average pegasus. Not only that but despite his rough upbringing things appeared to work out for him in the end. Nice style of balancing sad times with happy times. The design is a bit simple though and used often. 2 Stars ***** Personality: Well I know your OC very well, it can be very emotional at times, but when he has a great time, he tends to be a flirty OC that's the dancer of the party. He knows how to charm the mares and knows when to stand up and defend his friends, a very well balanced OC in regards to personality. 5 Stars ***** Final Score: A solid 4 stars! I love this OC and his backstory, its full of tragedy but that tragedy is made up for by the friends he encounters and his ability to push forward despite his sadness. His joy can be felt when he's around his friends and when he comes to save the day. A simple design that’s easily recognizable and can be easily a hero in the franchise! 4 Stars ***** Ridely Wolf Creativity: I see a slight inspiration of Twilight Sparkle here, but executed so well! Yellow eyes with narrow pupils to enhance her mysterious outer looks, very sleek, and a good color you don't see very often! The creativity here was well thought out, keeping it sleek but matching with her personality. 4 Stars ***** Originality: A half Kirin half pegasus pony? You don't see that very often. I'm surprised Kirins haven't been used in the franchise yet, but probably too exotic except for us fans! I love the use of different culture fantasy being used in this character, it matches with the conflicting emotions in her personality. 5 Stars ***** Style: You take one look at this pony and you know she's mysterious and has a lot to tell you, but she won't give anything away so easily. She's very tight with her looks as well as fighting stances, being the head of a dojo means you have to be up on your game. I love her style but would hate to run into her! The only thing that throws me off is her cutie mark has little to do with her love of fighting or traits or personality other then that she loves to do what she wants and be free as the sky. But still a decent style. 3 Stars ***** Personality: Growing up with an exotic father with a dark past, and a mother who's a thief, it's no wonder how she behaves or looks amongst others in society. She's conflicting character with a lot to prove to others as well as herself. She's full of pride and honor and obviously won't back down from a fight even if its for her own good. Very well executed. 4 Stars ***** Final Score: This is a well designed character with a dark past but brilliant personality to confront that past. She's a fighter, a noble, and a pony full of honor and exotic beauty. Very well done. 5 Stars ***** Rockout E. Stringer Creativity: This character reminds me of a cartoon where a boy turns into a super girl like hero, only in this case Rockout becomes a mare with no super powers lol! The color of this character is bold and easy on the eyes, with the black mane and tail making him/her pop! 4 Stars ***** Originality: Again the character has very bold colors that make him her/pop, but the thought that he now becomes a girl and can only switch back to a stallion with the help of seeds just pushes it over the edge. I love the play on how he's a mare one minute and can go right back to being a stallion. Must be a hard but hilarious life for this OC! 5 Stars ***** Style: The cutiemark is your average guitar though it’s a nice silhouette. It's the story behind it that makes it come alive. When in stallion form he's got a killer rock out mane style and tail along with a beard and mustache to boot. But as a mare she tends to lose some of her appeal as a talented rock out pony, screaming more 80s pop then rock itself. 2 Stars ***** Personality: Personality wasn't really addressed in the background, but what I can gather from the OC, he/she must go through a lot of challenges with the fact that he/she switches in and out of genders all the time. Shy when he was in school but now full of confidence, is that confidence shattered at times because of the gender switching? 3 Stars ***** Final Score: This sounds like a very fun OC to play in an RP, and easy to animate with many stories to boot along with him/her. Though it can be confusing on how he/she will react in every day life situations, but with that brings the fun and mystery of it all. 4 Stars ***** Wild Awry Creativity: The green and blue colors with a purple cutie mark is really crisp and easy on the eyes. Very well executed. I love the fact she's considered clumsy, but when you look at her current expression, she doesn't mean harm and looks completely innocent. 4 Stars ***** Originality: Hurricane Fluttershy in the flesh? Only she's very clumsy and considered a weather hazard! Though there's a lack of details on her cutie mark, but I'll assume its because she knows how to make hurricanes that’s what it represents. A very sad time for her to be fired because she can't control her talent, but she thinks she'll be safer babysitting? LOL I can see the trouble brewing! 3 Stars ***** Style: She looks very innocent despite she's got a neck for trouble. Her hair is well done but to top off the highlights with those two little earrings is just to die for! She screams rock pony… or that song "Here I am, Rock you like a Hurricane!" 5 Stars ***** Personality: There's a lack of detail on her personality that I've only gained by guessing based off her talents and her past. She's a cutie but personality may need some development. ***** Final Score: She's a cute little OC, and defiantly could balance out her stallion friend Rockout, however there's a lack of personality that I've not been able to figure out. Is she ashamed of her talent? Or scared of it? Does she care what others thing? Is she bold, bright, gentle or nervous? Regardless she's a well designed character with plenty of potential. 3 Stars ***** Roxy A. Stringer Creativity: A very bold color design though can be lost by the mane and tail. The expressions alone though scream excitement and magical mystery 3 Stars ***** Originality: I love the fact she was adopted and though that can be difficult on any pony, she's still full of life and spirit and excitement. Being raised by 2 earth ponies and being a unicorn isn't easy and with the lack of being taught magic, accidents were bound to happen, love how that conflicts with her brother Rockout. 5 Stars ***** Style: I look at her cutie mark and know she loves music, with the lightning bolt being a symbol of energy or excitement, spontaneous, it matches her personality through and through. It's like seeing a Rainbow Dash in unicorn form, only she's not about sports and ego, but music and enjoying life and food! The style screams all of that just by looking at her, very well done. 5 Stars ***** Personality: There's a conflict with her not being raised with unicorn parents, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying life and trying out magic for her own pleasures. But now that she's turned her brother into a mare, I can forsee how that personality can be one of excitement and humor to worry and concern as well as guilt. Lots of opportunity. ***** Final Score: This is a well done character that mixes well with the two others above. I love the design and the personality benefits to this character because its great for supporting the other characters. Well done! 5 Stars ***** Jhera Creativity: The colors alone scream Earth Pony lol, and going for earth pony in a fandom that doesn't think too much about them, is very creative. Not only that, he's a colt that loves to grow flowers, very nice. and though had a rough start to his business, picked himself up back in Ponyville. 5 Stars ***** Originality: Though he had a rough start to his business, he picked himself up back in Ponyville. I love the fact that rather dwell on his failures he moved forward and created a home for himself in Ponyville. A lot of OCs tend to focus on the negatives and not the positives, so good for you. 4 Stars ***** Style: Style is simple and easy to animate, the color can be a bit dull though, but it pops with the cyan cutie mark and eyes. 2 Stars ***** Personality: Very kind and understanding, he'd have to be to be a care taker of beautiful flowers and fragrances and you execute that well with his job. 4 Stars ***** Final Score: Overall a well done OC with an original outer and inner exterior, with a nice background and open for possibilities for a story or RP. 4 Stars ***** Dreamer Creativity: I love how you combine the name with his talent and cutie mark. And what possibilities for a story, though I've heard some ideas like this before, it was never successfully implemented and I always viewed it as OP, but in this case, your OC doesn't use it to his advantage, but rather he writes stories about it and shares with the world, not for his own personal gain, very orginal. 5 Stars ***** Style: Your style is simple, not as eye catching or eye popping, what's more stylistic his personality and ability of sight. But that works with his personality. ***** Personality: Good hearted and tends to forget things as he goes, a true youngster in heart. I'd be he'd be fun to party with like Pinkie Pie. Probably would be annoying to be around too at times because he tends not to keep his hooves on ground, into one thing, forgets it the next. When the pony nation, lead by discord, declared war on the wolves. After five years of murdering ponies, Seth and his team was attacking a small town. After seeing a dead child, he locked up. Seth was then killed by a unicorn. Both he and his brother were frozen for 1000 years until Seth could be treated from the attack. After five years of rehabilitation in the new world, he was requested to begin diplomatic negotiations with the nation of equestria. Long story short, things didn't go well. She had ordered her best dragons to hunt down and devour Lightning Bliss or capture and restrain Night Lights and force him to abandon this union by any means necessary. Whilst the wyvern dragon clans were making their plans to stop the wedding, the Gryphon Empire of the North's terrorist party, known as the Gryphon Pure Force, have vowed to stop the wedding as well, believing that the dragons and ponies were using this union to build a bigger army against the Gryphon Empire. The Gryphon Empire though knew of their union as pure and innocent, and vowed to help the couple by any means necessary, even if it meant to play host for the couple on the Gryphon's sacred grounds. Sadly this did not stop the pursuit of Prya's wrath nor the terrorists. War was inevitable. Not a pony! Very creative considering this is the MLP:FIM, it makes you wonder if they will ever include wolves as characters in the franchise though unlikely. Love that he's not completely black but dark gray. 4 stars ***** Originality: A very original back story with a wolf and his brother frozen for a thousand years during a war between the Wolven Empire and the Ponies of Equestria. Not to mention though they don't have cutie marks they still have a symbol to signify their ranks. 4 stars ***** Style: A noble wolf with a dark side… yet he's gentle enough to be compassionate for others, even during times of war, love his style that he's strong and silent one minute, then kind and funny the next! 5 Stars ***** Personality: Think his personality has to be the most eye catching for me of all. I introduce to you: Arcane Fission! (Unicorn) BACKSTORY Arcane fission grew up in Canterlot, Living a relatively normal life as a filly. However, unfortunately, she did not have very many friends to play with. Instead, she spent her days reading and writing, always wrapped up in her own little world in her brain. There was hardly room for other ponies. Later in her life, she became interested in science after reading about the science that governed the universe. Math, Astronomy, and Physics! In fact, she was about 15 at the time. She studied very hard, secluding herself even more than usual as her curiosity and determination grew. Unfortunately, this seemed to turn her into an outcast in the social group of school-ponies. She was a nerd. Despite her flourishing passion, she had not earned her cutie mark yet. Most of the students in her class already had. The students would occasionally poke fun at her being a blank flank, but she would simply snap back and find a way to turn the situation around. She was often seen as mean and cold because of this. It couldn’t be further from the truth. One afternoon, she had accidentally hit her head on the underside of a piano when she was startled by a friend. (She had been asked to make sure it wasn’t broken.) She feared she had suffered permanent brain injury, and was horrified at the idea of losing the ability to think clearly! Of course, that night...in her dream, she was confronted by the greatest equestrian scientist in all of history! They had a conversation, and he helped her find out a way to make a special equation about black holes. She bolted upright that morning, and rushed to write it down as the numbers flew around inside her skull. Everything made sense! She looked down at the equation, and felt a sense of incredible pride. It was then, she noticed she had earned her cutie mark! A spiral galaxy. Now 19, she has begun her work at CanterTech university, surrounded by intelligent ponies and swimming in equations and mystery! She uses her magic to meticulously multitask, and is seen as a but eccentric to her close friends (who have never had anything to do with science. Ever.) Of course, there was one problem left to be resolved. She had happened upon a pony she desperately wanted to befriend, but didn’t know how. She had never had to make friends before! They had so many things in common, even more than her current friends! But she was so afraid of failure, she could hardly look him in the eye. Currently, she has turned her attention to the Alicorn princess of friendship and her friends, in desperate need of advice when she was unsatisfied with the evidence provided by her few friends. They have made it their business to teach her everything they know about friendship to make sure this new potential friendship goes perfect! What could go wrong! PERSONALITY Charming, yet awkward. Intelligent, yet full of dark humor. Professional, yet relaxed. Softspoken, yet a marvelous storyteller...and very, VERY, stubborn. Let us not forget sarcasm! She’s a little bit of a narcissist, and a little bit of a sadist, but she keeps these two traits inside very well, and simply puts forth an atmosphere of authority. STYLE Preppy when in public, and casual when home alone. She walks with her head up high, and always seems to powerwalk everywhere. Being late is never an option.
