Brits are Limeys... I think bretty is wine term. - - Auto Merge - - I only do that when I have a new video game. I ate almost nothing for nearly a week when I got Skyrim.
Okay, it's catchy, but not in the good way. You know when songs play over and over in your head and instead of it being a pleasurable experience you wanna punch yourself in the face until you're unconscious and you don't have to listen to it any more? It's THAT kind of catchy.
Why is the relevant forum section called 'Creative Art'? Doesn't this imply there should be a corresponding forum section titled 'Uncreative Art', or 'Not Creative Art', or 'Art that isn't exactly particularly Creative'? How does one decide then into which section art should be placed? How does someone quantify the creativity of a given artwork? Is there a scale used to measure the creativity of artistic works? Is the result at all dependent on the artist, beyond the actual bounds of what is present within a given artwork? Is then any art creative in the first place? Can a work of art be creative initially, but later become less or completely non-creative? Is the converse possible? Does the genre or subject matter of art in some way influence its level of creativity? Does the art style or the medium in which it is presented affect the scale in any way? Can the level of creativity in a given work vary due to either context or setting? Is the approximate level of creativity of art universal to works of similar nature, or does it differ greatly based on minor details? TL;DR: Why is the qualifier 'Creative' necessary? Was titling the section just 'Art' too short or too ambiguous? Why not 'Visual Art'?
I can haz link? Metal is one of those genres where it's borderline impossible to find more than three people who can agree on what "good" or "bad" metal is, so I'd like to give this a listen for meself.
False, some of the mainstream bands get far too much credits for things that - I consider - mediocre at best. As a general rule, I prefer more obscure bands. Particularly ones that are disturbing in nature.
"False?" Do your personal preferences somehow invalidate my statement that there is no widely accepted view on what's good or bad in metal (which is a true statement, actually), or did you just turn into the Dwight meme momentarily?
Actually, the 'False, ...' I used was an allusion to a - fairly ancient - film. This week's challenge: Name that film!

Yeah, I'd say that about all genres. I don't really think there is objectively "good" and "bad" music at all. We like to think so, because it makes us feel more secure in our personal tastes, but I think so much of it comes down to personal opinion that it really doesn't matter.
And here's the one that got a low score. It has a long slow intro but gets better.

I like how the commercial for the new Yoshi's Island 3DS game uses transforming into a helicopter and bobsled as two of its selling points. Meanwhile, I'm just sitting here like, "you mean like it did almost 20 years ago on the SNES?"
yes. twas bad enough she can see the dreams. there are things others (and myself) wasn't meant to seen
