For the same reason that people buy expensive cars.
Because it's my primary mode of transportation, and I wanted the best.

Wanna know what's worse than a loud clock?? Trains. There are tracks right across from my house, and I was awoken many times last night by a stupidly loud whistle.

Like, seriously, don't ****ing blow that thing in the middle of the night. Use your mind, choo choo man...

Where do you live such that you are close to tracks? There's a by-law in Vaughan (city part of the GTA just north of Toronto) forbidding train operators from using their horn(/whistle) lest there is a vehicle stopped on the tracks. Since the closest tracks to me are in Vaughan, trains aren't an issue.

Neither is the clock any more, considering it's in pieces now; breaking the thing was intensely satisfying. I need a new clock.

Kind of tired of people still stereotyping Furries by going on by the *squee!*ers they see. It'd be nice if people would just check out the communities. It's kind of like what people are all phobic about when it comes to Bronies.

I've inhabited a couple of furry-oriented sites, and they're very... Weird. Not necessarily bad, but they do differ greatly from the other places I've been.

Disturbingly, I've noticed a lot of furry hate from within this fandom. Call me a lunatic, but one would think that a group of people that has been as heavily mocked and demonized as we have would be just a little warmer towards our "fellow outcasts". Kind of a crude way to phrase that, I know, but true nonetheless.

I mean, haven't bronies suffered enough hate from fellow nerds, especially the various anime fandoms? "Ew, you're a brony? PEDO FREAK." Yeah, we're totally the pedo freaks...say the 'desu' talking weaboos who gave birth to loli/shotacon, worship a country that's really no richer in its cultural history than any other, shriek the foulest of oaths whenever someone presents a negative or even indifferent opinion towards anime (or Japan itself)...yeah,those unreasonable behaviors we're accused of? That's totally unique to us.

^ THIS!!!!! It's hypocrisy squared! It's like when Christians mock Jews or Muslims for their "strange" rituals and practices. I'm guilty of it myself and that's why I have tried to condition myself to be a lot more tolerant and less to be the one casting stones.

The real question is, what does disloyalty due to people who are already terrible persons?

"Furry" is not a valid music genre. Yes, there are furry lyrics and artists, but it's not just a genre. I like a Mega man themed band, but "Mega Man" isn't a valid genre. Brony isn't a genre, either.

I'm always scared that I'll never meet my goals losing weight. I guess I dont' talk about it often because I dont like to think about it...but I fear that if I don't focus more on it, it will become a problem I'm in denial of or ignore.

I'm doing what I can, I've toned on soda, I don't eat as much sweets, I eat what I need and no longer snack at night...but.. *sighs* mind lapse, now im not sure what to say on this heh.

Lightning Bliss (Skittles) A professional tip for losing weight: Eat often, but in small portions (6 small meals per day is a healthy regime), that way you don't experience hunger and also speed up your metabolism. The primary tip though is to stay active; no matter how well you eat, it's nigh impossible to stay in shape without sufficient activity.

I completely agree. The worst part about this is how in fact truly similar the two cultures are. For those who have seen south park, it's as bad as emos vs. goths. Incredibly similar cultures just hating it out with each other. But as it is, it's also more than that: Furries have become persecuted from fabricated stereotypes labeling us furries as all some sort of fetish-obsessed freaks. Though I do admit, there are in fact some of those people, there really aren't that many, and in fact, how publicly they abuse these fetishes is really not very cool. Now, I will admit there is something enticing to some of the anthropomorphic characters, but hey...

Tfw you have an idea or character for something you're writing, then you find out something popular already had taken said idea/character.

Omg yes. I hate that. Every time someone says "brony music" I'll think of the dubstep stuff and just think "ugh, no thanks." Even though I know there's some decent brony music out there.

You're doing what now? o: (legitimate curious; not like "ugh, you're doing what?" I'm more like "Oh? please continue~" )
