I'll start this thread off by posting a map of the RP area. Hopefully, this should make things a little easier. The map will be updated as the RP progresses.
The intention is for each pony (or pony family) to claim a piece of land to settle on. All the ponies will have to work together at first, each helping the others, but everypony will have homes of their own. Remember that the land claimed should fit your character's skills and goals. For example, Nova and Static plan on building right next to the cave at the edge of the forest, because Static, a skilled metalworker, intends to mine there.
Oh... well, actually, the reason I asked was because I wanted to get to know that character......... farm couple, you know?
If you want a romantic interest for your character, the easiest way to get one is to write it yourself.
Eh heh... now let's not be so hasty here.... I guess I did say the term "couple", but I meant friends, you know?
Ah, well, that's a horse of a different color. I'm going to need to write in a few more characters anyway, so I'll keep that in mind.
Cool. After all, my guy's goal is to settle down. Also, I'm toying with something about how my character is like a great (x100) grandfather to applejack or something? What do you think.
OC relationships to canon characters can get complicated, and a lot of people consider them Mary-Sue-ish. It's up to you, though. If you think you can pull it off, go for it.
All right cool, so this is the OOC. Well I saved the map to my desktop so I won't have to keep coming back here.
Before the in-story day ends, I'll be adding three new characters, as well as several dozen nameless NPCs to serve as workers and general background ponies. Use the NPCs however you wish.
