Just my luck! According to the Weather Service, a funnel cloud has been sighted approx. 10 miles northeast. Ironically, it's moving southwest, so I'm likely to be hit. Just bucking fantastic! EDIT: Another update just got announced. Quarter-Sized Hailstones with gusts of up to 60 MPH. And that's without the funnel cloud.
Nah, my face is more like . If I mysteriously dissapear for a few days, it's cause the internet got screwed. EDIT: Ah sh*t, Tornado sirens are off. I'm out of here; if I don't reply by tommorow, the internet is down and I'm likely homeless.
Oh my gosh! I love you Saikyo, hopefully you read this before you lose your internet, or home. um.... Break a Leg!
I'm clear of the tornado, but the hail and strong winds are still a major problem; not to mention all the lightning going around.
Well then, call in the weather patrol to help you keep your internet! Cheers on the brush with disaster though.
Oh man, that's awful. I hope everything turns out alright and no damage is done to your home, means of transportation, internet, etc. Like others said, stay safe!
Be careful and stay safe Saikyo. I also live in the north Texas area myself (just to the west of Fort Worth) and it's been a nutty night. Constant lightning in the clouds, wind blowing hard enough to tilt trees, dust and wal-mart bags flying in the air, and other stuff as well. At least we got a little rain out of it, we been needing it.
Agreed, we needed the rain, that's for sure. Everything is fine; just a tiny bit of damage to some trees and stuff like that. Thankfully, the Tornado passed about ~.7 miles north of us.
I believe that is supposed to be the front that moved in from my area here on the Gulf Coast. my power went out, but then again we need the rain...BAD!!!!
