    Silly atheists... there is so much more going on than science alone will ever allow you to understand.

    Anyway...

    I dislike family holidays, but my mother insisted that everybody get together for Easter.
    It wasn't all bad, though.
    After dinner, we had strawberry shortcake made with lemon pound cake.
    I feel slightly cheated for having lived this long without ever having tasted such a wonderful dessert.

    Silly theists. Agnostics/atheists are perfectly fine knowing that we will probably never understand everything, but that won't stop us from trying, and we won't use the "god did it" cop-out to write-off something we don't understand.

    I'm afraid it's a fairly meaningless holiday for me. I find it easy to celebrate Christmas because there's so much to it, and many of the celebrations are really rooted in ancient celebrations of the Winter Solstice, and I love winter, so... Yeah. (I don't quite love Spring. lol)

    Nevertheless, I don't tell my family I'm no longer religious, so they still give me gifts on Easter. Yesterday, I got a $25 iTunes card, which I'm happy to get since I've been buying a lot of music lately! =)
