Yeah, his ego knows no bounds. He's the epitome of that archetypal, self-entitled brony who thinks the writers should cater to our every whim.
Meh. Everybody's entitled their opinions, and if their opinions differ from my own, they're entitled to be stupid and wrong, too.
I watch Dub anime quite a lot and some actually work quite well. One of the best dubs I have seen is definitely all the Hetalia stuff from the Axis powers series to paint it white and the world series. Also I would highly recommend watching that anime.
I can scarcely imagine what the show would be like were the writers to do so, but I'll hazard a guess that it wouldn't be very good. As, an aside, your sig is vaguely in sync with what I was listening to while posting this.
Man, people like that... "I don't like it, so it's wrong!" is basically what he's saying. I liked that one!
I'm probably gonna have this played at my funeral.
I might consider this, mostly because the OST is fantastic. But If I wanted to be funny, I would have this as the coffin was lowered down. *Bad language alert, but film-clip itself is censored.*
That's certainly a beautiful tune. Mine is pretty simple, and... un-funeral-like compared to this, but I choose it for a reason. Ever since I can remember, I've been a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Zelda fan. I'm pretty sure I played A Link To The Past for the first time when I was a mere babe. For 18 years, It's been a huge part of my life, and a distinguishing feature, and I feel the song that plays at the end of the original Legend of Zelda would be a perfect way to celebrate a Zelda fan's life.
Hey, I didn't mean it in a "My opinion's correct and yours is wrong" sorta way. Obviously, everyone is free to watch it as they please, and I'm sorry if I gave the impression I believed otherwise. When I made the post, I simply intended to state that I'd rather watch it in subtitles than dubs, and the reasons for my opinions. Of course, the ultimate way to anime is to Japanese. But since I really can't be arsed learning a new language right now, subs will do fine for me. And dubs will apparently work for you guys. Even though they're godawful
I believe Dilly's point, broadly anyhow, was that choosing the words "always a bad thing" implies the intention of stating a fact; though he's not trying to go against you, just pointing out the wording. Though the points have been made so it seems this is just a matter of semantics. Just watch what you want yo. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Dan denk ik dat je niet begrijpt dat ik voor elke taal die niet wordt americanized engels ook wel verbasterd Engels kon worden beledigen uw geliefde Amerika en uw haat.
Bleh. Engels in MURICA is beter dan engels in Engeland. (That thur'z the extent of mijn nederlands.) And if you're gonna play the "bastardization" card, one could easily say that Dutch is just a watered down version of High German.
People are capable of learning more than one language, you know. ie. I can speak French and Russian, both of which I mostly taught myself.
