    Okay well I'm sure you both know that Afrikaans is South African language so I don;t have to do any explaining there. The Olympiad is a competition learners can pay to enter in and generally write in test from to prove their skill or knowledge in a subject or just do for the heck of it. Generally the more Olympiads you partake in the higher your chances of being chosen for a university are. Generally the Olympiads are multiple choice papers that are written AFTER SCHOOL to avoid interference with lessons. Not this time. The school decided to put the fricking long Olympiad during school and as a result I missed an important Chemistry lesson.

    And yes, things are done very differently here Ridley. There are similarities though, and yes it is boring lol.
