General Chat Thread 3: This Thread Transcends Titles

The biggest problem with a lot of white supremacists is that they honestly believe that they are in the right.
Most of them were raised by bigots, and have never known anything but bigotry.
Others have had bad experiences with minorities, and can't get past them long enough to see that not all blacks/Hispanics/Middle Easterners are the same.
Still others see the propaganda from these groups, touting the inborn superiority of whites, and get taken in by it. Everybody wants to feel special.

This belief that they are in the right is what makes racists so dangerous.
If they're the good guys, how then do they view those who disagree with them?

 

The worrying part about this all is that in europe the whole far right movement and parties are gaining popularity. You've got:
the freedom party of Austria,
alternative for germany,
Party for freedom (the netherlands),
UKIP,
Front national (france)
Danish peoples party
Lega Nord (italy)
and
Golden dawn (greece)
all gaining poularity as seen from the European election results. UKIP went up by 10.99 percent and Front National went up by 19.

 

Please do keep in mind that far right does not equal neo-nazi/racist. While the Party for Freedom here in the Netherlands has an active anti-Islam stance, they don't go around promoting 'white power' or other supremacist idiocy.

 

This terrified me and my partner. Awful.

He also happens to be a dangerous hatemonger who is teaching her to be just like him.
