Have you ever been banned from a forum for liking MLP, having a pony avatar, making a pony thread etc? The wonderful people at Facepunch just banned me for I quote 'MLP ****'. I'm getting sick of this I always get discrimination but now outright bans. Spoiler: (Strong language)
Never been banned from anywhere, but I've had "friends" hate me for it. Of coarse we are no longer friends. If you were spamming MLP stuff all over where it didn't belong I can see how it would annoy people. If not, then that's obviously a forum not worth going to. Also, you may want to put that pic in spoiler tags with a warning of bad language. They get all touchy here when you use naughty words.
Just looked at Facepunch, and I found some MLP threads, full of people talking about MLP. They don't seem to be banned. Did you spam it about?
No, but then again, the only forums I frequent these days are pony-related. I guess it's their right to ban whomever they want for any reason they want, but it's still a dick thing to do. Especially if "No pony ****" isn't in their ToS. Seriously, if they're gonna go all Third Reich on MLP stuff, they should at least have the common decency to make that clear in their site rules.
The only non-pony forum I go to a lot is Randy Ayers Model Forum. I posted all of my MLP cars there and even entered my Dashie race car in the Fantasy Cup Series. Never had anyone complain.
I don't know how to spoiler? I made a thread for MLP in the TV shows board because I saw people with pony avatars and figured they'd be fine plus it is relevant and there was no thread for it. That's not spamming.
I'm never on any forums rather than this one. It does seem possible that some people might just be done with it at a certain point, and then ban someone because they've just "had enough", but that's really stupid. Also, add a tag saying if there's any language in the spoiler, it helps. And also, welcome!
