Eat it rainy. As you probably know, the fourth of july happened a few days ago, giving americans everywhere an excuse to get drunk and blow things up, but giving britains everywhere an excuse to complain about the holiday and call everyone a really mean word in which I cannot say. I always hate when the colonies get restless... As for the changeling species, I'll give Tyro a kick. It's easy to do and I think changelings are a bit more prominent than seaponies and gryphons around here. >.>
When you are grounded for the entirety of the school holidays and not being able to play games or leave the house, all you can really do is watch movies. Plenty of these soon. Also, I guess everybody forgot Canada Day
*Searches Wikipedia* Right, so apparently Canada Day is when a bunch of colonies under British rule decided that they'd rather be a single country under British rule. In contrast, Independence Day is when a bunch of colonies under British rule told the British that they'd rather rule themselves. This influenced many other nations to overthrow their own ineffectual governments in favor of democracy. So, yeah... The United States changed the world. Canada... well... um... they invented mac and cheese?
Actually, most people now use cell phones and MP3 players, which were invented in the United States and Germany, respectively. That said, the technology for MP3 players was perfected in the US. Basically, America is better than everybody at everything. Because America. Vermont maple syrup is better. Besides, there's no way of knowing where maple syrup was invented, as it predates European colonization.
It kind of reminds me of a thirty-year old guy trying to decide between living in his parents' basement, or a room above their garage.
What? The Celebration of their chosen Nationality? Of which they've opted to keep on repeated occasions? That's pretty harsh to say that of The Rock. And I'd say you were out of line with Canada too.
If they're so proud of their chosen nationality, why aren't they a part of the United Kingdom? From what I've been reading, it seems that Gibraltar is little more than the rope in a tug-of-war between Spain and England. Also, Canada gave the world Bieber. As far as I'm concerned, that was an act of war.
They are a part of the United Kingdom and seem very proud of it. They just happen to be attached to Spain. I would think twice before putting down an entire place of people other than your own again and that's all I'll say about it. I think we should drop this for now. Otherwise, good post. I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying the Entomology.
Ridley Wolf, just because "Merica" exists in the title does not give you any right to start bashing other people like that. And especially not here. I don't care if you find if funny or whatever so consider this your only warning from me that you'll get on this. Good job on the post Nigh btw.
Let us not forget about Bryan Adams.
Concerning Canada, I'm not going to apologize for what I posted, just as I would not expect a Canadian to apologize for jokes about America. If I had posted something like "Canada sucks," this reaction might be understandable, but to be perfectly honest, I like Canada. One of my favorite shows comes from Canada. Concerning Gibraltar, I'll admit that I'm no expert on the subject, and I apologize if my initial opinion, based on about five minutes of Wikipedia research, offended anybody. I will not, however, apologize for expressing that opinion, especially considering the circumstances. Most importantly, I will never apologize for being patriotic, no matter how much that annoys anybody on this site. If that's a ban-worthy offense, so be it. Take that as you wish, I'm done here.
