So, let me tell you... my last six weeks have been pretty crazy. From getting a job to losing a job to getting a job and then working 54 hours in a week at said job. Now, this project isn't really gone. That wouldn't be a good way of putting it. For a while I was waiting on my writers, but neither of them ended up doing anything, (and I thought they were good on it.) Then the side-quests weren't getting properly indexed, which didn't make me happy about it. So, what I really need are a few individuals who are interested in writing the scenes. Like dialog, story info, etc. Of course I have the long plot of the story put together, but I don't really have any of the interactions, or the intros available, and as I learned when I made "Alruco's Quest" it definitely goes better when another person helps with writing the dialog, (I'm not as good at writing comedy.) So... my casting call right now is the need for a writer. All the positions in Act One were decided, which is why the voting paused for a bit, because I was bugging my writers to finish up something following the plot-line, so I could put it all into game format and then have something to show for it. Took a little while before I heard that nothing was done for writing, so that was the initial dead air, and hurt my motivation, (harumf!) However, if there's someone out there who thinks they'd like to write some scripts, I'll be quite happy!
Well, Greylighting told me to come in here to help out aaaaaaand. I most definatly can be a writer, Grey can vouch for me because i have a tendancy of writing very good stories for justa bout anything, just give me a few facts, and ill weave them all together in a wonderful tale that makes sense. Now, i'm not going to read that MOUNTAIN of forum posts, but id be more than happy to speak with EightStar privatly and we can get these scripts comin out
Well that'd be cool. You got Skype? Most of the writing is going to be scripts, mainly dialog, and some simple movement, but there will be a few world intros and such that will otherwise be needed. SPT offered to do some of the writing, but two is better than one... amiright?

Alright! We seem to have some writing underway. I apologize for the break in activity, but I wanted to get Act 1 finished so I could show it off in a video and show what the game's like, so people would know more about what the nominations are like BEFORE we start voting on positions for other acts. Makes sense... right? Kinda what I was planning before, but I was trying to keep it quiet, but by GOOD ADVICE FROM A FRIEND, I came and said it.
Ah, crap... this is still happening? Oh well. At least I still have my concept sketches, and I have gotten better at drawing in the last few months.
So. It's been more then 3 months since the last post on this forum (I hope this is still going, which I think it is). A few updates now and then would be nice though. Also I'm offering my services to this project as well. I may not be a great drawer, but I'm sure that I might get some sprites done if needed. It's vacation now and I have absolutely nothing to do for the coming 3 weeks....
True! Well, I processed most of the dialog for the first act, but then I had a lot of work to do to get ready for my trip, (which I just recently got back from,) and my sick chinchilla, and a few other things that quite quickly prioritized themselves above this.
