How about a twelve-year old "L337" gamer sobbing in the corner while one of the easier bosses points and laughs?
I love it when people who haven't ridden a bicycle since they were children try to give me advice on riding across the country.

There's a shortcut to the next boss if you turn right after the hall at the spider's archstone. You can drop down platforms to reach the bottom and you'll be in a room right next to the boss fog. Bring arrows or magic. If you choose to go left, bringing a weapon that deals magic damage (like the Enchanted Falchion from 4-1) will make the bugbears easier to kill. Also, going that way leads you to a Great Axe and a Fire Longsword. The big bugbears are annoying with all that health, but just lead them around the caves if you can and go to town when you're on their butts. Be sure to run away when you kill the big ones, because they explode.
I actually haven't gone back to the tunnels. Trying out some different places. >go to storm shrine, killed by skeleton with greatsword of stunlocking >Go to valley of defilement, get plagued by rats. >Go to ivory tower, Organs sucked out by cthulu dude. And my favorite. >Go back to palace, killed by fire dragon on really weirdly long bridge.

Bring a blunt weapon and the skeletons are cake. I advise the Great Club in 2-1 or Blessed Mace in 5-1. The golden skeletons you speak of are easier if you lure them out as far as they go and attack them when they turn back. Apart from that, it's getting a shot in here and there, backing off each time. Pretty simple. Don't run into the giant swarm of rats. Pick them off with a bow or crossbow. Be patient and wait for them to turn their backs, then run up and backstab them. When they get up, backstab them again. There's a pile of bodies and a scorch mark at the beginning of the bridge. Just behind the bodies is a safe spot you can wait for the dragon to pass by. As soon as it passes overhead, sprint to the next tower. From there, you can go under the bridge into a passage. Beware of dogs and proceed with caution. At the end of the passage is a merchant and a stair up to the final tower. From that bridge, stand behind the carriage, wait for the dragon to pass, then sprint to the soldiers you see. They're standing in a safe spot.
Just watched the Sailor Moon Crystal transformation that I saw a bunch of fans whining about. It looks great. People will complain about anything.
