Ahhhhh. The memories. Back then when cartoons were the best. Dexter's, Courage, Cow & Chicken, all the others. (I know them, there's just soo many ) But this is the Powerpuff Girls. That show had so many pop culture references. Did y'all ever see the movie?
It seems like as how time proceeds, cartoons get much weaker and worse. For instance, my favorite cartoon is Tom and Jerry, which is, ironically, really old. I think that MLP's the only cartoon I like that got created in the last 5 years. @Pac-Pony: Nope, didn't see the movie. But yes, this cartoon is filled with Pop-culture references.
Off topic: Some of the new one's aren't bad, but I still think the older ones are better. My favorite would actually probably be Courage the Cowardly Dog. Second would probably be Samurai Jack. On topic: Back then my favorite characters were Mo Jojojo and the Rowdy Ruff Boys. Now it's more like Him (Due to the clever name. imo) and still Mo Jojojo. Fuzzy Lumpkins is still a favorite because of the Beat Alls episode. Sure all he did was throw a rock, but it's kind of funny that that's all he did.
Was never really a fan of this one, I'm tempted to say 'because it was girly' but then I'm administrating a forum for My Little Pony so yeah... I'll shut up.
Ponies are manly, very very manly I never did watch Power Puff Girls much either, just never really caught my attention I guess I did start watching them as I got a little bit older (guess I was probably 10 or 12 when they were new) and stopped caring about what's "girly" or not (I remember changing the channel whenever an advertisement for a girls toy came on, man you're stupid at that age) but I still don't really find much reason to watch them now even though they're shown quite frequently on Boomerang.
You should consider watching it, it was cool. I might sit through it again and rewatch it if i find the german dub version...
I've only ever watched one episode of The Powerpuff Girls, I remember they stopped two trains colliding but that's all. I also live in the same city as them
PGZ. Well anyway, seems like i found out, Pac-Pony, about it actually a while ago. Never noticed that it had anything to do with the powerpuff girls, and never saw the intro sequence. Never watched it. If someone has, please explain why it is good or not.
I enjoyed watching Powerpuff Girls as a kid with my sis. We also liked the Dexter`s Lab, Cow and Chicken, Johny Bravo and other great shows. Ahh the sweet memories...
All of these, besides Cow and Chicken, are shows that I enjoyed watching as a really little kid. Though, I was only watching German dub.
I seem to remember the Powerpuff girls meeting up with Dexter in some kind of collaboration show... please tell me they did?
I don't remember that... BUT this was close. It was a bumper that they showed in between episodes. I miss these. :C
I miss when Cartoon Network was Cartoon Network and not CN, which contains oddly high levels of lame live action shows and general derp.
In ads, yes. In the show, I highly doubt. I always loved the Johnny Bravo face... No mouth, just that "The Rock" brow.
