The Everypony Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament and Free Play Event at BUCK 2014 (Sorry. UK only as BUCK is in Manchester) It's that time again, lads and lasses. I, Tyro the Fox, and my colleague, Foxytail, are dragging a load of game consoles and two TV's miles and miles and miles and flippin' miles just for you! We're going to be setting these up and invite people to play these relics of a time gone-bye: The 90's. When men were forming boy bands and caustic detergents were used to remove 'Ebeneezer Goode' by The Shamen from their minds. Phones could do damage with radiation and blunt force trauma. The Internet was what you used to download wallpapers in exchange for listening to your computer wail in pain. Your best friends are a Tamagotchi called 'Trevor' and a level 43 Blastoise called 'bumfluff' because your older sibling is a git face like that. But enough about me rambling on. It's time for an instructional video about what we're planning to do, featuring me, rambling on but with my face rather than a keyboard. Wasn't that invigourating? And that handsome dev...Ah, even I'm not that vain. Those details if you want them again! From 2:30pm till 9:30pm on Saturday at BUCK. We'll be having sign ups for a short while before each tournament starts but the Free Play will be happening constantly the entire time. The games on offer (so far) are: Mega Drive Sega's First 16 bit console and rival to Nintendo's NES. - Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic 2 - PGA Golf Thingy III Dreamcast Sega's Console swansong - Jet Set Radio - Sonic Adventure - Fur Fighters Nintendo 64 The Legendary Console of Legendary Legend - Goldeneye - Lylat Wars If you have any equipment or games, please feel to bring them along but we cannot guarantee we'll use them. If you let us borrow them or use our machines to play your own games, you do so at your own risk because legal mumbo jumbo and boring stuff. We'll also bring stuff for the Wii like Gamecube controllers and Mario Kart: Double Dash. To help friendship flourish when we're bored of Tournaments (which may be never). Utterly, utterly optional is to chip in a little to us right here. It all goes into the event for extra stuff like games or new consoles to try. Add to the Tip Jar! Everything goes into the event as there's ALWAYS something new to be purchased for it. In fact, any information you could give us on decent leads or anyone interested in getting rid of their old stuff would be absolutely perfect. Everything goes into the event, meaning it'll be given a working life. Like a sheepdog but a game console, y'know? But that's enough of me yammering on. Anything you'd like to ask? Feel free. Hope to see you there!
