Day 2 of Destiny Beta. Already hit the level cap, completed early access story missions, killed ridiculous amounts of baddies, fought alongside eight other players in an enormous public events, mulitplayer is excellent And my Warlock is already immensely OP. My god, this game is beautiful
I went out last night to the Black Horse pub, probably the only Rock Pub in my area, I called a cab from 289 and when the cab driver picked us up, he asked if we had a good night, what the music was like, and he asked us IF WE LIKE RAMMSTEIN! Of course all three of us were like 'HELL YEAH' and he got out one of his CD's and played Rammstein the whole way home. He also talked about the Resident Evil games! What a delightful drive home~
Meh, I'll stick with Mike's Hard Lemonade, thank you very much. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
Glad to see that your bad experience with that cab company was a one-time thing. Also, what is the big attraction for bars and pubs? I've never really liked the idea of spending my night drinking watered down beer out of a dirty glass and dealing with crowds of drunken strangers. - - Auto Merge - - Mike's Hard Lemonade is very good. Their Smashed Apple Cider is even better.
That's not the case with all pubs and bars. The Black Horse offers friendly staff and good service. The Landlord is a darling, and even though they have stock troubles, they handle everything very well.
It's not as if alcohol is the only thing you can get at a pub... Sure, in some college town's like the one i currently live in, pubs are mostly known for just being trashy bars, but back in my parent's town there's this one called "Shannon's Irish Pub" which serves very good food, including some nice pizza which I always enjoyed. I would go there with my whole family when I was younger. Yeah, I've been to a few whose main attraction was that they got local bands to play. If you were a minor, they let you in with a special stamp on your hand, so I went to those places a lot when I was younger to listen to music. Some of my friends would even play there, before they started looking at bigger venues and record deals.
On Saturday It's Band night usually. It's always heaving on a saturday and the atmosphere is amazing. I actually have made new friends by meeting them at the Black Horse and we keep in regular contact, go on karaoke together and buy eachother drinks. One woman has given me anxiety advice and invited me to a bike rally. She, her daughter and her nephew come in regularly and we see them often. It's so difficult for me to meet new people, let alone make friends! So the fact that I know the landlord and bar staff personally and have regulars that I frequently talk to is really amazing for me. My mum and dad came with us to Karaoke night yesterday and we had so much fun!
