I'm not open-minded because I am very aware of what people are like when you state your opinion. But if there's something that really annoys me, I just explode at them and that stuff. I never "explode" without a proper reason, though.
My ideal is to be open-minded. I love interacting with people. However, familiarity breeds contempt and if someone shows their stupidity, I am really judgmental. You can enlighten ignorance; you cannot fix stupidity. Willful Ignorance is the worst, there is no cure there. Why sugar coat it, we all have our strengths and our weaknesses. I am no different than anyone else.
Very Open minded. I'm willing to sacrifice my time for hear you on what you say. Will i have my agreements and disagreements? Yes, but there is not one thing but a few of them that can make me think any differ from you. It's perfectly normal to me to think of you what your interests, Your ways, How you feel or what you think of and Your Sex either Gay or Straight. It's what makes you...You. This world can be cruel to one another and to new creations...The New needs friends. Being raise on Morals and Lessons through out my whole life as right now even and where I look at this world of needed help to get people to see the world from my eyes is where i wish this world was in harmony and peace but I knowing that may or may not happen. This world could use more happiness and more mutual understanding but this world has been frighten but it's Superiors that run this world into fear. Afraid to speak of what they think is right and wrong. Bashing those who are free-thinkers and crushing those who stand in their way. I'm very passionate for people and things that I wish more people were like that. Don't be afraid to be weak but don't be proud to be strong. The world is Hurting and Its time to wake up.
I describe myself as "completely openminded". By this, I mean: no idea is too farfetched or extreme for me to consider, as long as it makes rational sense and as long as it has good evidence in its favor. Some of my beliefs make me seem crazy. But I will advocate for them if I'm convinced of their value. I'm also totally open to having my mind changed; I am aware that the truth might be something other than what I currently believe. :derpe:
I am "fair". That is to say, if I consider an argument logically invalid, even if it is argued in support of one of my own end conclusions, I will argue against it. However, I'll be honest that I am not in the slightest bit open-minded, because I consider a new viewpoint very quickly the first time I am exposed to it. If I don't agree with it the first time, I will probably not give it a chance the second time.
I would consider myself open-minded unless it comes to any sort of Bigotry. I'm that weird type of person that will here a pseudo-racist/sexist/any-ist phrase from someone ask them about it a judge by the answer who I want to associated with this individual. As a Libertarian Socialist I get alot of flak from both sides of the political spectrum. I have come to realize that everyone uses "Close-Mindedness" as a wash to explain why others don't believe in what you yourself stand for. Case in point, I truly believe that Fox News and MSNBC are one in the same thing. They are there the political zealots of there political party. They are the people who will go down with there ship instead of help others find safety in the waters of political duality and conviction. Now, both sides will call out me as a *Insert name here* on my own views when it comes to how you can be a Libertarian Socially and a Socialist Economically while keeping government only as big as it needs to be as decided by Populist approval. But it doesn't change tye fact that I will still believe what I believe. It does very little to cold-cock somone with insults and belittlement when you can try to explain your point of view and atleast get some understanding on why that person believes that certain way. A really good friend "Squid" told me once "If you propose an idea to me I'll take it into mind, but if you try to force it on me I will fight back." And in regards to PB... *clears throat* OMG WHY MUST YOU HATE PB ARE YOU PB-PHOBIC ARE YOU HUHUHUHUHUH?!
Guh. You're so close minded man. You can't just have opinions. You also need to have opinions you don't have. While you don't have them. That's a pretty sensible way to go about things, I think. I'm not very open-minded, assure ya. Just tell things I'm not afraid of public speakin'. It's better to not tell anything at all than lyin' or avoidin' answers.
