I never said anything about console gamers being any better. I only implied that I prefer a controller instead of a keyboard. I'm pretty new to PC gaming which is why I was focusing only on that. After the thousands of "PC master race" nerds I've dealt with I finally gave in and got a gaming PC only to find out the community is no better than console gamers. The games are fun though. I'm more than pleased with how my PC copy of Skyrim runs compared to my 360. Can't say I've heard that thing about whiners wanting games to be exclusive before, but it doesn't surprise me.

Rented Destiny from Red Box to give it a whirl. It's pretty fun so far, but pretty normal shooter-y. But that's just because I only just now unlocked my action skill and haven't tried it out in a mission yet. I'll do that tomorrow.
I have to take my written test for my driver's license today. I am almost certainly going to fail. I wish that I'd just done this in high school when I should have.

I am also on Ps3. We should play some time! By the way, is Cricible crucial to making a good character? I hate PvP in shooters because I'm really bad at it and I always drag my team down. Many of the people playing this PvP are experienced players of things like CoD or Halo PvP, and I only ever play single-player campaigns. Co-op is fun though!

Oh what the hell! The enemy in PvP one-shots me every time, when on shot from me takes out like 1/4 of their health.
We need to play Yami. I'll try my best to aid you in the Crucible if we ever play with another. And yeah, Co-op is fun. If your fairly underleveled, this is a pain.
In regards to being one-shot'ed, the damage your weapons can do matters. I think all the weapons get nerfed down to level 20 in PvP (not 100% certain on that, but it's something like that) and the difference in damage outputs in everything else below level 20 in super crucial. Once you get near level twenty, those sorts of things become slightly less important. Weapons choices should reflect map choices, as well (sniper rifles on big maps, shotguns on little maps, etc.), and the Pulse Rifle and Auto Rifle weapons appear to be the best PvP basic weapons. It's a shame, since handcannons are and have always been my favorite class of weapon in shooters, but they seem to under-perform in Destiny's PvP. Even a lower-leveled Auto Rifle is better, especially in team PvP environments where multiple players can concentrate their fire. Crucible isn't crucial, you can get the same amount of XP from taking on three-man Strike missions and Vanguard bounties. We should totally play one of those together. If you wanted, we could even try PvP. I'm pretty rubbish, but maybe sticking together we might have a chance? I don't have a mic or anything, but I do my best to help out fellow players (revives, supporting fire, etc.); offer stands for you or anyone else who wants to play.
Sure! What's your PSN? I enjoy hand cannons as well, but I got a pretty good level 9 auto rifle that has served me better both in PvE and PvP. I'm level 11 now and would love to do a strike mission or something with you guys. I already added your PSN.

I'm Awakened female Hunter, aiming for Bladedancer, but only level 13 so far. In other news, I played the moon's Lv12 strike mission with a couple of random dudes, where you have to beat Phogoth the Untamed. My god these guys were troopers. We must have died to him 10 times before we finally got it, but we stuck with it and had a dance party where it died.
