You made a lot of assumptions about Chrysalis' power. Why do you assume that she can only transform into what is near her? There is no evidence to back up that claim. Chrysalis can fly, fire destructive blasts from her horn, and has at least the same damage resistance as the rest of her species, almost certainly more. It is also likely that she has a protective exoskeleton, based on her insect-like appearance. Mystique cannot fly, can only fight at long range if she has a weapon, and has only slightly higher damage resistance than a human. All Chryssi has to do is take to the air and fire energy bolts, and Mystique is as good as dead. Hail to the Queen. Chrysalis wins.
Where did you get the information that Chrysalis can control other peoples mind and that she sucks out the energy from the nearest living being when she shifts into someone?
Ok, just to clear out a few things: 1-The claw thing isn't headcanon, it was me misremembering things. This is straight from the My Little Pony wiki. 3-About Chrysalis' shapeshifting, I was thinking back to the posts for Daleks VS Changelings. Those posts left me with the impression that the Changelings could ONLY shapeshift into Daleks. At no point did anyone say something like "The changelings could win because they could shift into a horde of Godzillas and stomp the Daleks flat!" 4-I misremember things, but I never put headcanon in my site.
The Changelings vs Dalek thing is a headcanon but anyway, Chrysalis is able to absorb love but no one have said anything about that she drains the energy from those near her when she shape shift and even if she could she can only absorb love and that would be useless in a fight (unless she have absorbed some love before the fight or she fights someone who loves her).
