My team and I finally dominated the Vault of Glass Raid. We're gonna plow through it again tonight. You get good items every step of the way.
I haven't done the raid because I don't have enough friends to do it with and I get the feeling I'd pull them down due to lack of mic (and no interest in acquiring one). In other news, I hate exotic bounties because they force me to play Crucible. I want the Thorn, but I have to get 500 points with void damage in Crucible (5 per kill, -2 per death), and I find shooter PvP to be an exercise in frustration and I'm really bad at it.
Yeah, it requires the best and most precise teamwork you'll ever need in a video game. It's highly recommended that those who play communicate at all times. It's very difficult and unique in it's difficulty.
I also do not have a mic and think that teaming up might also be difficult for that reason. I wish I had one.
I have the same hangups over game mics that I do for Skype calls. I feel extremely uncomfortable (and sometimes downright terrified if a call comes suddenly) talking with people I don't really know. If it's a close friend, though, I don't mind at all.
I got an Exotic Fusion Rifle and enough ascendant energy to max it out during the last raid. This thing is crazy powerful.
Wow, with the latest patch, there's actually a good reason to play missions at a higher level. EDIT: Or....not? I got a blue engram and an Ascendant Energy for doing Sword of Crota at level 24, but no mission after that offers anything beyond the normal nothing...
Wow...everybody is about 10 or 15 levels higher than me. Then there's me sitting peacefully as a Level 13 Warlock.
These exotic bounties suck. They are forcing me to play crucible. I really want that hand cannon though.
