It was midnight. Soir walked down the dark streets of the rural Ponyville. Dirt paths. A far cry from the paved roads of Canterlot, his birthplace. His mission, given to him by Luna, was to infiltrate the Castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle, and steal many important magic books, and burn down the rest of the library. He walked into the castle. The hallway had a lavender carpet leading to a spiraling staircase, with a tapestry of the Element of Magic decorating either end of the halls. Guards raised their spears to stop him. "Fall." Soir's horn glowed a gentle blue, and the guards felt a sudden drowsiness come over them, and they fell to the ground. His horn persisted the glow, causing anypony to come close to him to fall asleep. He ascended the staircase, approaching the library.

 

He soon completed his task with ease. When he returned to base he was ordered to report immediately to High Commander Lunar Shield, as Luna was busy at the moment. "Good Job, I suppose the mission went smoothly?" Lunar Shield said.

 

(I don't think you know exactly how this works. You don't control anyone but your character or NPCs. I'll let it slide this time, but please refrain from doing it again.) Soir nodded, and threw his saddlebag full of books on the desk. "I didn't recover as many as expected. I will consult the Princess about this."

~The next morning...~

-After receiving his orders to come to the council meeting hall in Canterlot Castle, Levi rushed down to the meeting hall, awaiting further instructions from his mother-

(Levi) *uses horn to sense the time* Come on, where is she?

 

(I guess we just join in?)

-In the Guardian Temple-

A group of six, hooded figures walked in the temple halls, making their way to the meeting rooms. As they sat down, twenty others joined them, and three more at the front, those three were wearing black, grey, and white robes.
"As you know, we are at war," the main pony spoke in a soft, tender voice, "This was our option, to join either side of the conflict, but rules have changed. We will aid neither side, but we will help their civilians."

(This is the meeting room, of course, if you want to control npc's, you could have leaders from either faction join this conversation.)

 

"There you are Levi. We got a report of somepony burning Princess Twilight's Library. Can you go take a look?" Celestia said seeing Levi enter

Lunar Shield enters the room wearing his High Commander's uniform saying "Do not worry I do not plan on hurting innocents."

 

(Levi) Right. I'm on it. *jumps off of railing from the balcony of the tower, and glides down to Ponyville*

 

Twilight sees him and asks "Do you who could have done this Minister Levi?"

 

(Levi) *closes eyes* *horn glows* *magic radiation from the burnt library begins to flow into Levi's horn* I know who did this. Until I return, I advise that you keep you raise a shield over your castle, to prevent more such attacks.

 

Soir was in the chambers of the Nightwatch, awaiting the other members to arrive. In came Mind Sewer, the Night Watch's brainwashing specialist. She kind of intimidated Soir, due to the fact she could alter his thoughts at any time. During operation NLR, she converted many loyal Equestrin citizens to Luna's side. "Soir, you screwed up." "Hmm?" "The Empire's minister is on your tail." "I burned down a library. It's going to happen." "I guess your right. I heard that minister is in a relationship with the princess. Maybe you could get him to..." Mind winked. "Fudge the search documents if you... Perhaps, kidnap the princess?" "Kidnap Twilight Sparkle? Isn't that a bit unorthodox?" Mind's horn glowed a deep purple, and Soir's eyes flashed the color for a second as well. "It will be done." "Good. That's what I thought."

 

(Levi) *senses Mind Sewer's abilities* New rival identified. In hot pursuit. *horn glows* *wings glow the same color as my horn* *flies off, with a magic-induced boost*

 

(Shattered Dreams) : *Stumbles slowly into Ponyville, looking scared and hurt* H..Hello? is Any P...Pony there.... *Gulp* Hello?

 

Soir walked out of the chamber, ready to apprehend Twilight Sparkle. He stopped a moment. "... Aaand her magic got me." Soir is strong enough to resist mind-changing spells, but usually doesn't notice slight suggestions made by Mind. He proceeded with the task anyway. He remembered what Mind said about be noticed. He was most likely being tracked. He cast a simple cloaking spell, and approached Ponyville once more.

 

-What Soir did not know was that he was being tracked by the army minister of the Solar Empire. Celestia's son.-

(Levi) *is hiding in the shadows of Ponyville City Hall, using magic to track Soir* That's right. Take the bait. *horn flashes brighter, then returns to its original hue* *summons gunblade* *jumps down and starts hovering over Soir, using an incredibly advanced cloaking spell that only Celestia is strong enough to sense*

 

"Alright then hurry back. and don't be bold. " Twilight replies

Lunar Shield soon notices Levi flying off and begins pursuit staying to the shadows where nopony can detect him Lunar gets closer to Levi with semi-auto pistol drawn. Pathetic Alicorn that is such an obvious spell. This will be to easy Lunar thought as he pointed the gun at Levi's cloaked form. Luna had taught him to detect Celestia's cloaking spell.

 

(Hello)

Dark sits in an alley, tinkering with a few metal parts. He was waiting on a shipment of cider, only a single barrel... But, ponies would pay for it. She shifts into a disguise, a light brown mare he had seen with some colt... Had his face buried in a video game. Why was he remembering that? The changeling smacked its forehead, dismissing the thought. All that mattered was getting supplies to these people.

 

Lunar Shield stops his advance on cloaked Levi when he notices the civilian and momentarily lets his cloak slip and his NLR uniformed Body appear. He Walks over to the changeling and says "You want to get out of here, Civilian." as Lunar does not want to harm innocents.
